I since replaced with brass eyelets give a few different high options as well. Easy to get up and down. I wouldn't fill it with wet towels as the weight would be up there. Seen a mention of not coming with fittings to attach to ceiling, I honestly can't remember if ours did or didn't but I almost always use my own fittings when attaching to a wall or ceiling as what comes with the products isn't always correct for your situation... Wood, concrete etc etc.. I was able to locate the studs in the ceiling and use correct fittings and never had an issue.
