Invacare Walker Tray for I-Class Paddle Walkers, 6007

I ordered the tray after a week of needing to use a walker and have been using it for a little over a week. I can load the tray with all the odds and ends one needs in the course of daily living. The tray easily folds down when necessary, is easy to clean and the built in nooks hold odds and ends from cell phone, eye glasses, books, medication, food and drinks without sliding. It is also a great height next to the bed for easy access to whatever one needs. In addition, I was able to easily carry my purse and paper work to and from the Dr.'s office today. I preferred using the tray over having my husband carry my purse or having my purse dangling off the side and bumping into every obstacle.

I purchased the Invacare Tray Table for my elderly mother. It was easy to attach to the walker (I made sure that it would be compatible with her Invacare walker before I purchased it) and it seems very sturdy. It folds down neatly in front of the walker when not in use. I took away one star because my mom complained that it was not level enough. We remedied this by adding some padding where the table rested on the bar of the walker. Also, as is mentioned in the other reviews, you may want to put some of that spongy shelf liner on the top of the tray to keep plates,etc. from sliding around as you move. But all in all, a good product that I would recommend.

This tray has been a life saver. I couldn't live without it. It is sturdy, perfect color for my walker, a good size & easy to install. Everyone who sees it wants one. Price was good too.

OMG! This is awesome for an Invacare walker. My mother's home visiting nurses, physical therapists, and visiting friends have all inquired about this tray and wanted to know where to get one for people they work with or loved ones who could benefit from it. This tray is nice, too, because the tray flips down, if needed, to be out of the way. We also got a similar cup holder that attaches to the post of the walker (which my mom uses for her coffee or as a holder for little "things" such as pencils, paper clips, candy, etc.. It can hold a plate of food, drinks, mail, telephone, laundry, and misc. things that a person would carry around the house. We don't realize how difficult it is for people using walkers until you take the time to watch them try to be independent, but unable to use their arms to carry things because they are holding onto the walker. This tray is for an Invacare walker, specifically, but I would highly suggest it or another tray designed for the brand walker that you have.

The tray is such blessing! This is the second one in 5 years! It is very stable, gives so much freedom for my Mom. She can work in her kitchen, take her meal ). When we go away or need it, it just flips down the front out of the way but you can very easily still fold the walker for transport or store away in an out of the way place at eateries, parties, where ever you need it to be. It is light weight. The color is a dark gray and looks very nice on the walker. She loves how much freedom it has given back to her! We like how easy it is to fold away. MOST definitely would highly recommend if you have this type of walker! The prices is point on and so worth it!

I think this would be a great product, but I will never find out. After waiting for shipment for about 2 weeks, I was sent a message from Medical For You that it had shipped. I waited some more. It never came. E-mail arrived that it's on back order but is due Christmas eve. It never came. Another e-mail.....still on back order. New estimated delivery time....some time in February. While I feel that Medical For You may have dropped the ball a little bit by leading me to believe it was on the way (when it wasn't), the problem truly lies with the manufacturer which isn't keeping up with demand. I am getting the impression that many distributors are awaiting this product as I cannot find it anywhere yet.

It fit our walker perfectly, and very easy tilt up & down. However, after only a few weeks of use, there are impressions on the tray surface from the rests below. The plastic thickness of the tray itself should be thicker to prevent this when carrying items. I'm afraid it's only a matter of time before it cracks at this spot and renders the tray worthless. Already checking into adding a reinforcement / extra tray-within-the-tray. Wish we didn't have to do this, but we're not going to let it break either.

The tray was rather expensive but very sturdy, easy to put together and install. Works great with the walker model. I wish that drink well was a little deeper and that the material on the tray top was non-slip. Overall a good purchase.
