PattyBoutik Women Mock Neck Marled Zip Up Cardigan

I own many PattyBoutik shirts and sweaters and I've loved all of them, but this one is a definite miss. To begin with, the ugly pockets on the front make your abdominal region look fat and lumpy. It's a straight cut through the waist, which is unattractive and makes me look boxy. The weave of the sweater is large and open, so if you don't wear a long sleeved shirt under it (which adds to the bulk) you can feel cold air on your skin. It is not a warm sweater even though it looks like it is from the picture. I was hoping that the collar would stand up like it does in the picture, but it just flops over and looks stupid. Also, today is the third time I've worn the cardigan and I just now noticed a big hole in the seam on the inside of my right arm as I am typing this review. It's bigger than a quarter! I didn't do anything but put the sweater on about an hour ago. Poorly made and unattractive.I'm very disappointed in this sweater and it is the last time I will be wearing it.

It's a hairy out of the bag when the picture makes the sweater look smooth. This seems to be an issue with every item I've bought from Patty Boutik. Even my cotton sweater from PB is pilling and I've barely worn it 10 times.On top of that, this sweater adds 15 pounds and makes me look pregnant (I'm a very slender person), but that might just be because I'm short. It's still cute and warm so I'm going to keep it but I'm not buying any more knitted clothing from this brand.**edit 12/3/15**I've worn this 3 times to school and it's started pilling. I'm returning this.Disclaimer: Patty Boutik uses cheap short-hair wool (as opposed to long-hair wool fibers) which makes for a sweater that falls apart much quicker.

Thank goodness I stayed true to my size and went with a small on this sweater because sizing up or down would have been a mistake.1. A small fits beautifully—neither too snug nor does it leave too much room.2. If your proportions match mine and you size down, the body may fit even better but the arms will be much too snug or not fit at all. A medium may accommodate a long-sleeve shirt very comfortably and leave a little room, but on someone like me, it would appear to be too big.3. You can wear a SHORT-sleeve shirt underneath without it being too warm or snug at the arms, underarms, or around the shoulders.4. The hip area is comfy whether zipped or unzipped since the material is flexible. The back covers my butt completely, but I’m not sure this would be the case for taller people or those with a longer torso.5. The pockets do not make me look frumpy, nor does the cardigan "pile". The pockets are not near my stomach since I’m shorter. Again, for those taller than me, some people said the pockets led to a frumpy, gathered, piled look, since they were located somewhat near their stomach areas, so keep that in mind.6. You can wear this sweater with a LONG-sleeve shirt underneath. I don’t intend to because it is a thick-ish sweater, so a long-sleeve shirt underneath would be too warm. I also feel it may be a little snug especially for people with more meat on their arms.7. The material is soft and comfortable. I didn’t find it itchy. However, the downside is it sheds/transfers on to clothing like crazy, so you might want to avoid wearing a black cotton shirt if you plan to take the sweater off.8. It’s appropriate for Fall, Winter, and Spring weather. You’ll obviously need to wear a long-sleeve shirt or wear the sweater under a coat in colder months since air does come through the design easily.9. The grey is lovely-- neither too light or dark.I purchased this and another PB sweater-- they are overpriced for the quality. With what I paid for two PB sweaters, I could have purchased at least 4 or 5 equal quality sweaters from stores like Burlington's and TJ Maxx with similar if not better designs.If there’s one thing that will keep me from buying any more sweaters from PB, it is the price.

This sweater is indeed a pretty one. Worth almost $50? Not exactly. I am 5'4", 130 lbs. My busts measures 36" and my waist is about 30" give or take. The sleeves are a little tight and every where else is loose. Although I am happy that its not tight across my chest (32 DDD), but would prefer it to be a little more form fitting around my abdominal area. Not sure if I should go down a size (medium to small). These days it seems like the sizing is always not how it used to be 10 years ago with clothing companies. I have always worn medium in tops but now everything seems to fit like a large.

Very disappointed with the fit of this sweater. I was sooo excited to get this one after receiving a plain black one I bought from PB--similar style. I bought a black blend medium and it fit WAY baggy in the stomach area. 5'7, 130lbs, 34B, slim waist, pear shape. The arms and shoulder/chest area fit like a normal medium, but the stomach area was just too bulky/baggy--weird cut. I'm so bummed, I really wanted to like this sweater. Returning.

I have this sweater in all four colors. I am 5'31/2" about 105 lbs. and the small fits perfectly. I have three other styles in PattyBoutik sweaters and love all of them; I wear one of the sweaters every day. I love the longer length, the fact these sweaters are machine washable (and I have washed them), and the warmth is perfect for my highly air conditioned office. I love this company and am so grateful to the youtuber that told her viewers about this company. I will be buying more from this company.

I do love the sweater, the material, the knit, the feel, warmth and look. I have only one minor gripe... it fits tight and I do mean tight. My husband has not complaints lol... but it you like your sweaters to fit a little looser or be able to layer you really should consider ordering a size up. I get that it is supposed to fit fitted, like the model... anyway, I contemplated sending it back but my husband's reaction when I wear it is enough for me to keep it. I just wear a very thin under shirt with it. Just something to think about. It's a nice sweater and surprisingly warm. I love this line and will continue to purchase patty boutik!

I'm a size 12, 5 foot 8. I ordered up a size based on the reviews but should have stuck to my standard size. 14 was too big. Really nice jumper but don't think I will exchange as on arrival the lovely woven style knit on the top section was already snagged in two places. Gutted as it looks lovely.

Lovely cardigan, quite warm but would need something over it if its cooler outside. Lovely soft material and is cosy to wear. I just wish I had order XS instead of S as its a bit loose around the waist altho the sleeves fit fine,not a perfect fit like on the model. Will still be wearing it over my work uniform so I don't really mind

Image looks great but the actual knit was much looser so not as thick and cosy as I thought it would be

It was too large for me. The quality is so so, but the colour is beautiful. I have other sweaters from this brand, and the quality was much better.

A nice cardigan which is soft and warm. Ideal for dressing up or down. Washes and tumble dries really well.Really pleased and would not hesitate to recommend.

Comfortable and fits well. Can generate quite a bit of static electricity though!

A stylish form of outerwear but do not expect it to keep you warm. It may look snug around your kidneys and zips up around the collar but the lighter knitted parts of the jumper are purely designed for fashion. Brrr...

A gorgeous cardigan, looks good, fits well, handy pockets.
