Bought this model over others because of the mounting ability around an irregular shaped surface like a steering wheel spoke that's not actually round. Fits great on the inner spoke of the steering wheel, and I love that the remote itself is retained magnetically. Its awesome that I can detach it to take it home, or just hold it my hand if I'm laying back waiting for people instead of having to lean up and play with the phone which is sitting in a ram mount. If I lost this I'd buy another tomorrow. Everything is securely mounted in my work truck (a Freightliner) and now I can skip through songs easily without taking my eyes off the road or bothering with the phone. My phone is an older Samsung S8 and it works fine. The ONLY issue if I had to bring one up, is for some reason the pause/play doesnt work unless the display on the phone is shut off. Fine by me. Its lived up to my expectations in every way. Well worth the purchase, and they include plenty of different sized bands that will allow you to mount this just about anywhere. Mounting it on an inner spoke of the steering wheel means it wont interfere at all while you're grabbing the wheel to turn. Everything is still easily operated with a simple touch of the thumb. Couldnt be any better unless the vechile came with steering wheel controls from the factory. No issues with the bluetooth being connected to two items at once either. My phone is connected to the radio via bluetooth and this controller also. Its honestly perfect.

The only issue I've had was sometimes it won't connect and it's hard to enter pairing mode when this happens. This situation happened after about 2 weeks use with my old 5 year old Samsung phone and I needed to turn off bluetooth on my phone, press the + & - and then it would enter pairing mode. It was like the phone forgot about it, but the button was still connecting. When I replaced my phone with a newer Samsung, it worked perfect for about 10 months, used practically everyday, until one day would not connect. The same trick I used with my S8 did not seem to work this time, I removed the battery thinking it might be dead after almost a year, but it was still at 3 volts. when I put the battery back in, it went into pairing mode and my phone connected right away.This issue is probably due to the low power mode it uses and I can't complain too much (as long as the issue is very rare as seen with my newer phone) as the convenience is well worth the occasional connect problem.

Update again: bought this thing in march of 2021. It's January 23rd, 2023 and the battery IS STILL going. I don't use it all the time (maybe two or three times a week?) but still. That's super impressive for what it is. A piece of the plastic face did come off. Don't know how that happened (probably got knocked around in my pocket) but it's still super good and responsive all this time later. Impressed.Update: Either on OS update, an Android Auto update or both fixed my issue of Spotify and my podcast as app not paying nice. So I have it another star. Also, still haven't had to change the battery yet and it's been a few months so that's excellent. Can finally recommend this to people for the price and feel alright about it. Probably still at the mercy of updates to software so beware!!!!Using a Samsung Galaxy S10+ with Android 12. I really want to like this thing. It's very simple to use and has a loooong battery life. I REALLY love the way you secure it to to objects with the magnetic base and rubber bands. I bought a second base to keep in my other vehicle so all I have to do is swap the device between them. My issues are probably more with Android than with the device itself: it works fine with Spotify and Podcast Addict by itself but whenever I turn on Android Auto, it stops being able to skip tracks or play and pause spotify and my podcast app. I bought this to use while driving so I don't have to try to use a touch screen while driving. Not having it play nice with Android Auto is a very big deal. Wish there was a way to update the firmware to maybe fix the issue but have no way to know where the problem lies so don't know to blame the product or android. This is the biggest issue. A smaller issue I have is with the size of the controls. Wish they were bigger or you were able to feel around better without looking at it. I want to keep my eyes on the road as much as possible. Maybe the next version could add waterproofing, keep the battery life, and maybe be able to update it when something breaks with android or something. Gotta keep the magnetic base stuff cause it's really novel and a good way to move things around without having it be a big hassle. Decent product.

I recently purchased an Amazon Echo Auto. Unfortunately, the Echo Auto does not have play, pause, skip, and previous-type buttons like my old Bluetooth adapter did in my car. I purchased this Tunai remote as a supplement to the Echo Auto and it is the perfect companion for it. Now I can easily skip or backtrack in my podcasts and pause a podcast when I need to ask the Echo Auto to do something (because the Echo Auto doesn’t automatically pause media that doesn’t originate within itself). I like how it nicely mounts on my steering wheel too.Keep in mind that if you use iOS and really want the Tunis to activate Siri, this remote does not do a particularly good job of it (while my old Bluetooth adapter handled this simply and perfectly). For me, it’s not a huge issue as I was able to adapt by simply pausing whatever I was playing and say “hey Siri” to activate it instead. This is the only ding I can give it really from keeping just shy of a 5 star device other than I also wish the buttons felt a little more separate from each other. I sometimes hit skip when I meant to play/pause, for example, but not very often. Highly recommended.

New GM trucks on lower option packages do not have steering wheel audio controls. This device eliminates that issue. It mounts to the steering wheel spot where the controls usually are. It allows you to answer calls, access Siri for voice controls and advance tracks. GREAT PURCHASE!
