The design goes really well with the very rectangular shape of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, and the corners are perfectly aligned (that was my worry as, in the past, I've purchased cute cases that didn't line up or didn't "match" the shape of the phone and looked off). Easy to put on. As for protection, I'm not sure as I haven't dropped it yet, but it seems sturdy - but I wouldn't go throwing it around in this case.
