The Porous Fine point is cool, seems indestructible, and it was just over $2 at Office Depot. Make sure you know whether it's the Selectip or the shorter Slim, and watch out for "Porous Point". Only the Twist-out ballpoint comes in "fine-med.-broad" designations. The others come in "Black" or "Blue" (.7mm), or Medium (1.0) or Broad. I found the .7mm to be good in dictation, it's fast. Just write bigger. Paper's cheap. They've upgraded their archival ink to more like hybrid. **Q: my gel cartridge says 1004 0.7mm, which refill do I need?** A: If you are using a Cross rollerball pen (it should have a cap) then this refill should work. The only Cross pens that this refill will not fit are the Classic Centurys as they take a Slim Gel Rollingball refill.
