Really cute! Big and sturdy (like my baby - ha!)
This is a great toy for 18 months +. Even though it's pink, I think even a little boy would love it. It's so cute the way the princess fits on the horse (and her tiara pops up). The princess's and horse's wings are a flexible material (which won't snap, even if stepped on in the middle of the night -- trust me, I know from experience - ha!). The set is quite large (but can be stored fairly well) and works with the regular Mega Bloks sets. There are so many different ways to assemble the castle and we love how the horse has her own spot to spin. I think our Fisher Price "Little People" will also enjoy sharing the castle space with the Princess. The glittery accents on the wings and some of the blocks are really a cute touch too. We bought this for twenty bucks in December on amazon, and it is well worth that price - although it was fifteen bucks a few weeks later! Now that we've had it for a few weeks, I want to add that although it's one of my favorites, my baby doesn't seem to love it as much - maybe because there really aren't too many options for setting up the table/chairs/etc.? Still, it's really so cute and I love it. :)

Daughter loves this!
My daughter is 3.5 years old. She REALLY likes this set. She sometimes plays with it as a "doll house" or "play house" with the included figurine toys and some of her own toys and sometimes uses it as a building tool to build with blocks. She LOVED the "tower/castle" aspect, and will sometimes carry "Princess Ivy with magic pop-up tiara and her pony Chestnut" around with her for hours. The only reason I did not give the product 5 stars was that my daughter was NOT happy with the "Colorful stickers to decorate the enchanted castle" that come with the kit. There are no instructions/diagrams/images as to where/how they should be placed. The Amazon images shows 8 stickers on the product. It comes with many, many many more. It came with a 11x17 sheet of 30+ stickers with no idea as to where most of them belong. You can figure out a few from the images on the box, but you're on your own for the rest. Good from the creative side, but it frustrated my daughter that she didn't know where to put some. She's a little OCD I guess!

Great little castle
My daughter loves her Princess castle, and I love it too. We can build with it, play peek a boo or create stories. In theory it can be used with the other Mega Bloks Princess stuff. Basically the only way to do that is to build on the tops without putting on the top pieces. Not a likely scenario with a toddler but maybe when she is older. It also comes apart easily which I think is a plus. It allows for a small child to rearrange the castle without parent aide if they want to. And while it is made of a quality plastic it is still light weight so if it falls over on a LO it is not big deal. My daughter can actually carry the base piece around if she wants. My only "gripe" if you could call it that is that the castle is actually bigger than I expected. Probably about a foot and a half to two feet tall when assembled.

Not my favorite Mega Blocks set
I got this for my daughter for Christmas on an Amazon lightning deal. It is a very cute and girly set. Her favorite part is opening the door and putting the little princess in and out of the castle doors. I feel like the bottom part is really sturdy, but the towers on top are not very sturdy. It does not come with very many blocks, and there is not much space to actually build. This is kind of strange to me because I don't feel like this toy integrates very well with other Mega Blocks toys. The horse and the little princess are really darling and get played with the most out of anything. The princess can sit on top of the archway and "dance" back and forth when you move the little heart. This toy is kind of bulky and not very easy to store, which are major drawbacks for me. I do think the castle is cute and my daughter does enjoy playing with it, but if I had it to do over again, I probably wouldn't buy it. I would lean more towards the Lego Duplo princess sets, which I have been really impressed with.

As good as a dollhouse for a fraction of the price
I bought this toy when the price dropped. It was a last-minute Christmas present, and I didn't have any expectations for it. But it turned out to be a huge hit with my 2-year-old. A friend's 4-year-old also loves it. It's big, but not quite as big as a regular dollhouse or Barbie dreamhouse type toy. For a fraction of the price of a dollhouse, my daughter enjoys putting the characters in and out of the castle and generally playing with it. The only downside was the packaging-- it took forever for me to get the toy out of the box because there are so many ties and fasteners keeping everything in the packaging. Definitely not "frustration free packaging." But the toy itself is terrific, especially if you get it when the price drops.

Great Toy, Horrible String Ties in Packaging
My 1 and 2 year old girls love this set. It has adorable parts and many configurations, so it keeps attention longer than some of our other toys. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars is because:WHY IN THE WORLD ARE THERE 5 MILLION STRING TIES HOLDING THIS TOGETHER.Taking the parts out of the box was a pain in the rump due to the ties. I was quite frustrated when I was finished! The toy itself is worth it, however. I just felt inclined to inform you on what to expect.

My Daughter is in LOVE
I got this for my Daughter for her birthday, and she saw it when it came, so I just gave it to her early. It's amazing, the way you can take apart the towers and stack them or remodel the castle is great. And there is this awesome lever on the bridge that makes the princess spin in circles, and my daughter laughs every time she makes her spin, and yells WEEE.I am a huge fan of the Mega Bloks Lil Princess' mainly because they are not only girly and fun to play with, but they definitely help her develop creatively as well as work on her dexterity and logical brain skills. Watching her put together blocks to build a wall is amazing, knowing she is learning and having a great time.

Grandson loves it.
My grandson loves this toy. Like the other buildings in this series the bolts I tighten while playing but itโs not a big issue.
