Book itself is highly mathematical and is probably the best introduction to Microeconomics

The book cover presents the concept with remarkable clarity, yet it's imperative to grasp the depths of mathematics woven throughout the book. Rest assured, as you delve deeper, an affection for the subject is likely to blossom over time.

It's like PhD cannot be complete without the use of this. Very very detailed. Difficult in masters level. But if one gets used to it then it can be a huge benefit.Mathematical representation of every thought.

Its a 'South Asia Edition' book. To be exact, a 2018-reprint of the 1st Indian edition (2006). Originally published in 1995 by OUP. The MRP is Rs1050 (as written in the book). I bought it for Rs787. The body of the book is in B/W but the text and figures are absolutely clear. The thickness of the pages are very good. It is a large book of 1000 pages and 23 chapters. In the preface the authors wrote that the book evolved from their lecture notes meant for the 1st year graduate course of microeconomic theory at Harvard University. So this book may not be an easy one for self-study. I will write a review again once I read some of the chapters.

Perhaps the best book for introductory and early stage intermediate microeconomics.

This is a reference book for your shelf. I find myself occasionally flipping and solving exercises to better understand some concept

The name of the book itself is a guarantee of quality. I don't think I need to review this book.

The book is what it is. No point writing about its contents, since it is pretty much a standard work, and haven't read through it in any case.

When I bought the book I did not even notice that it is the Indian version, because it is almost the first search result in Amazon.de. This version is not supposed to be sold outside south asia. Why can this guy sell this book on Amazon.de? I just spent 27 EUR for a miserable quality Indian version textbook which I intend to keep for more than ten years.

I need American version, but is more expensive, this option are very similar and so cheap.The shipping service was very soon, only 3 days from India.
