But not perfect. *by E***N on Reviewed in the United States on August 11, 2019* Got this today and put it though it paces. Got to say a I'm fairly impressed with this. As it did a comparable job to my last cooling plate I bought not long ago but for around double the price. I found the cooling plate to fairly quite and while the sound was noticeable during quite parts of the game once into the and focused hardly noticed it.Fans work well enough although I was not a too happy with the big middle fan being tied to the top two little fans on the controls. But I can over look it and felt that more down to me thinking I of given the large fan it's own switch if I had designed the plate.My only major gripe is the slip guard which is stored in the under side of the plate, was trickery for me to get out and i had pry it out with a spoon. The guard is a nice solid bit of plastic and is was confident that it could take the weight of my laptop. But clip to lock in place in it by felt a little cheap and can see it breaking if used a lot.Also wished it had more USB ports! Two is not enough. My last cooling plate had four. Still minor problem a USB hub can fix even will annoy me sometimes.Even if I wont see it a lot I do like the fact fan blades are coloured red.Overall though a good product and would highly recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Non-intrusive *by J***T on Reviewed in the United States on April 29, 2019* The only issue I have with this cooling pad is that it has nothing to hold a laptop in place if you set it at an angle. The fans are a little noisy but not to an unexpected level considering their size and that there are 5 of them. I was a little disappointed that the controls on the side don't separate the large and small fans but instead split the pad in half. The top two and the large fan are on one control wheel and the bottom two are on the other. It looks slick with nothing on it but the red fans are completely lost once it's covered with a 17" laptop so it's really an unecessary feature. The USB ports work well for pushing a charge to a device but data connections that I have tried via phones have been lost as unsupported devices so it really only seems good for charging. I'd definitely buy it again, I just wish it had rubber pads staggered throughout the face to help hold a laptop in place. That little flipper at the bottom just doesn't seem like something I should trust with a $2,000 laptop. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 fans is the way to go *by M***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 21, 2020* I’m honestly surprised by how well it worked. I’ve had fans in the past that hardly provided any cooling for my laptop, but this one is great. I game on my laptop and in the past it would get so hot it would cause lag and crashes, with this fan I’m able to play smoothly and easily. The 5 fans really make a difference and the design is pretty cool.
