Kotobukiya Dc Comics Nightwing Ikemen Statue Action Figure

I love that Kotobukiya picked Nightwing for the first installment in their Ikemen series. There's been some back and forth about whether the sculpt is true to his comic book drawings among fans, but I love it. The magnetic base works great to keep him from falling over. His hair is perfectly sculpted. My only disappointment is that I pre-ordered back in January and paid full price, and while the price dropped a little and I got a few dollars refunded, it's dropped further and is once again available to the public for purchase. But, it's possible that this wave being offered doesn't come with the first edition bonus piece, which I received. All in all, this Nightwing fangirl is happy.

This is my first Nightwing figure, even though he has been my #1 boy since I was a child watching TAS. The sculpt is beautiful, the pose is a playful riff on that ikemen, bishounen that I love. I think it's very fitting of him to be like this and he is rocking it. They went for the finger stripes, because they known it's the best. Absolutely gorgeous in every way. I resisted for a while but the longer I look at him, the better he looks. Definetely worth the purchase.My box arrived still taped, but open somehow. His box itself was in perfect condition, so much have just been a mail carrier mishap. Didnt ship with any padding though. I bought Jason and he was also shipped in a large box with moving space. But no padding.

He looks great on my desk. I will say that the magnets on the bottom of his feet are not the most durable. Both Dick and Jason have magnets that come loose, and you will have to glue them back on. Another thing to note is that the mask is not very secure in his had so I don't use it at all because I don't want to lose it. Maybe if you display him on a shelf where there isn't much movement it would stay better. I do really love this statue, though, and he looks great in a set with all the other Robins.

This is by far the best looking Nightwing figure I have EVER seen. The sculpt by Japanese designer Naoya Muto is exquisite. He is one of the nicest super hero figures I have in my collection. He's simply outstanding. I find the American designs to be far too muscular, but this Kotobukiya Nightwing is more lean and toned which I prefer. Nightwing was an acrobat, not a bodybuilder.

Knightwing is well made and beautiful to behold. It also has an alternate face and a mask. I’m so glad I bought it. No complaints.
