It would depend on the polarity of the prongs on your bike. If it is like my Chevy truck, you may have to run two jumper wires from the original mounting points to the new flasher to reverse polarity, or cut the wiring harness on the bike to reverse the polarity at the plug by exchanging the wires for the flasher. **Q: I want to plug this into the 7-pin connector (pins 3 + 4 ) of our camper trailer to have the lights flash. Will it fit size wise 7 pin connector ?** A: I dont think it will fit size wise..... **Q: Can anyone tell me the length from the tip of the pins to the top of the flasher? The current circuits should already be protected. It had reversed polarity, but I have easy access to the leads behind the fuse panel, so I just switched them over, otherwise an adapter is available. The ground lead is a bit short, so it had to be extended. It flashes about 60% faster, than stock, but it is not detrimental. Works well with mixture of LEDs and incandescent bulbs and with LED bulbs on the reasonable end of the expense scale. Still produces the sweet relay click. Almost unrecognisable, that it is not mechanical sound.
