Review: Perfect for paddling - I use this when I go out paddling on my SUP. It is quickly assembled. I honestly usually forget I’m wearing it while I’m out. It is very comfortable to wear and doesn’t inhibit movement while paddling. I have not yet had to test the inflation thankfully. I feel like the fact that the pulley is not dangling down like with other models makes it less likely to get caught somewhere and then accidentally inflated. TBH it is quite pricey for what it is, but falls in a very similar price range as others.
Review: Absolutely works as intended, even if foldable Kayaks do not. - Wore this when I took my Tucktec 10' PRO Foldable Kayak - Full Size Floating Kayak - Portable Kayak for Adults out for the first time and I can honestly say that this product works exactly as intended, and is incredibly easy to use. While my Tucktec 10' PRO Foldable Kayak started sinking to the bottom of the lake, I pulled the tab and the belt immediately inflated, keeping both me and the Tucktec 10' PRO Foldable Kayak buoyant while we were towed to shore. I can not recommend this product enough. 10/10.

**Q: is this USCG approved?**
A: yes Coast Guard Approved

**Q: Seller! What is the difference between this new model and the old model M/16?**
A: The only difference is the upgraded pull handle on the vest. It now has a Secure Pull, which clips to life jacket; allows for quick release when pulled for inflation.

**Q: Will any threaded co2 16 gram cartridge fit this life vest?**
A: It needs to be a 16g CO2 with 3/8" thread.

**Q: Where is it made?**
A: Ok, the shell, or outside was made in China.  What I co sider the important parts were made in Ohio.  I had to deploy mine when a squall came up so fast, I couldn't get back to shallower water.  I fish in the Gulf of Mexico.  The waves were coming out of the dreaded SW, at about 5'.  As best I could , I was paddling at an angle trying to at least get in closer.  One big o e that I saw coming got to me before I could turn into it and it flipped me over.  I have sit on, so it threw me off.  Lost a lot of stuff that wasn't snapped on, and deployed the belt.  It was a little harder pull than expected, but deployed radar rapidly, took the neck cord over my head and began looking for my paddle.  A boater saw what happened. came o er and with me in the water, he in his boat was able to right mine back up.  The guy went ahead and slowed down his boat so I could paddle on his lee side to the shallows.  I give the belt a double thumbs up!👍👍

Fit well, totally out of your way. USCG rated, so you're good for inspections. I wish it had the USCG cert on the outside where it was easy to see. You have to remove it to show its certified. Hopefully they work as designed. No way to test without wasting the clip and air cartridge. I ordered extra clips and cartridges, just in case. Side note, the air cartridge it came with is already a year expired. I'm sure it's fine but a ranger will have an issue with it. I replaced it with one of my new ones.
