Product Description Rust-Oleum EpoxyShield Water-Based Epoxy Garage Floor Coating in Gloss Gray is a two component, water-based epoxy floor coating designed for finishing concrete garage floors that are in good, sound condition and free of curing agents and sealers. This 1 Car Kit kit includes two-part burst pouch technology, decorative chips and concrete etch, and dries to a solid base color with a color fleck finish. Surface preparation is critical: remove oil spots with Rust-Oleum Heavy-Duty Degreaser, use the included concrete etch on bare concrete, and allow the floor to dry completely before coating. Once mixed, apply an even coat with a synthetic 1/2 inch nap roller in 4 foot by 4 foot sections, scattering the included decorative chips onto the wet paint as you go, and use within 1 to 2 hours of mixing. The surface is ready for light foot traffic in 12 to 16 hours, normal foot traffic and heavy items in 24 to 48 hours, and full cure with vehicle traffic in 3 days. A recommended topcoat, EpoxyShield Clear Finish Coating Kit (SKU 292514), is available separately for additional protection and shine. **Q: is this enought for 2 car garage?**
A: No. I had very little left over after doing my one car garage. Also, i would look to another product, as this stuff is garbage.

**Q: Do i need to buy concrere etch separately?**
A: Acid etch is included in the kit. If your garage floor has oil stains, make sure you buy some degreaser and use it prior to etching.

**Q: Can extra chips be added to this to give it a "granite" look?**
A: I added more chips but didn't give a granite look but still looked nice. Just need to do the clear coat on top when you use more chip, that locks all the chips in.

**Q: Has anyone applied this paint over a cement garage floor with a sealer coating without doing all the recommended acid treatment. How did it turnout?**
A: Not well. My contractor said he didn't need to do anything but scrub. But I did an acid wash the day prior, though probably not a perfect job. I stayed off for a week. Still peeled off where the tires sat.
