Review: To stop the horrible high pitched bleep, put some tape over the speaker hole, otherwise excellent - If you don'y like teh sound - put tape over teh speaker hole! Several low star reviews complain about the very high pitched metronome sound. I agree. It set my hearing aids squealing and my wife was complaining several rooms away. There is a simple solution. Stick a piece of electrical insutation tape or even sellotape, over the speaker hole on the front (see picture). It gets rid of the annoying higher frequency sounds, but you can still hear the clicks clearly. It makes the metronome far more pleasant to use. Review: It could be louder - It's a nice size, not too small so as to be awkward to use and seems well made. It could do with a light so as to make it more visual, maybe for use in a pit or onstage, and certainly for practising if you wanted to turn the sound down. While it can feel a little flimsy being plastic, and the batteries are somewhat tedious to get to, for the price it is no issue at all!
