Ok....natural satin finish and no stinging at ALL!!
Y’all I’m shook. Most sunscreens I’ve found here in the US, even most marketed to “sensitive skin” like La Roche Posay or CoTZ sensitive, made my face sting and turn red. This does not sting or burn at ALL! The alcohol in this is hardly perceptible and will not dry you out. If you have excessively fussy skin and need a sunscreen to work for you, this is it, although it is a little pricier. It goes on moisturizing like a body lotion and dries down to a satin finish, looking like you’re not wearing anything at all. Perfect for normal skin in the summer when Elta MD is leaving me a little shiny. I have successfully worn the Australian Gold tinted sunscreen (silicone-based) over this with no pilling, balling, or patchiness. The high PA rating for UVA protection is just what I’m looking for, as I’m using this for indoors and not when I’ll be out and sweating a lot.Though I’m still on the hunt for a cosmetically elegant water resistant sunscreen, I’m so glad I tried this. Great for sensitive skin, absolutely fragrance free, stellar protection.

My favorite sunscreen is now discountinued =( But... I Found Alternative!!
This was my all-time favorite sunscreen, my Holy Grail for many years. I have very oily skin and this was the only one that would not leave me all shinny. I found this sunscreen thanks to Dr. Dray from Youtube. The reason for the ongoing price increase is because this product has been discontinued, which is very sad. Whatever is left, sellers are trying to make the most money from what they have left.Thankfully I found another one. The PURITO Comfy Water Sun Block SPF50+ PA++++. It's 100% physical sunscreen so won't make your eyes irritated as this one does (for me at least). just make sure you rub it in very well, and won't leave any white cast, I highly recommend it!! Othersise, good luck to everyone finding a replacement!

My Favorite Sunscreen!!
Love this sunscreen! I switched to Asian beauty sunscreens because every American brand (yes, even facial ones) was SO greasy and made me break out or left a HORRIBLE white cast. This one is very light and absorbs sooo fast. It just feels like any other part of my skincare routine. I even reapply OVER my makeup throughout the day, and it doesn't mess it up at all.Only caveat is that it's not really moisturizing for me, but honestly that doesn't really matter personally. I just need a good SPF and this fits the bill!If you're considering this sunscreen, go for it!! A little goes a long way with this so the value is amazing!

The perfect sunscreen for your face
I absolutely love this sunscreen. It feels so light and velvety smooth on my face and does an excellent job of protecting my face from sun damage. I used to use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch 100 and it was terrible. It felt thick and oily on my face, left a white cast but even worse it didn't protect my skin; I still got lots of freckles while wearing it.Not so with this Shiseido Senka Sunscreen. This sunscreen goes on smoothly and dries quickly and clearly, leaving your face feeling unbelievably soft and smooth, just like velvet. It's so sheer and smooth I was worried that my skin wouldn't be protected from the sun's harmful rays but I couldn't be more wrong. I've received no new sun damage while wearing this product and my old freckles are fading because my face has never been better protected. I wish everyone knew about Shiseido Senka sunscreen because it's the best sunscreen ever.

Prices increased, no longer worth it
I really like this sunscreen and I think it's very effective. Always bought the pack of 2 and they last me a while. However the prices have gone up. In 2018 the pack was $15, in 2019 it was $17, and now it's gone up almost $10!I will be looking for alternatives

Great Product
Never tried other sunscreen since I found this! My ONLY choice! Try and you can judge for yourself. Great for protecting sensitive, dry skin without making your face shiny

Great sun protectant but dries weird
Feels weird when dried, almost grainy-Ish but not really. It protects and I love the feeling and texture of the product. 4 stars because the after drying Reminds me of 3rd grade elmer’s glue thin layers of palm crafting, if that made any sense! It’s softer though.

Leaves my dry skin oily by the end of the day
I usually use Hada Labo UV Creamy Gel SPF50PA+++, 50g but it was no longer available for a reasonable price. So here I am trying Shiseido's sunscreen.I have normal/dry skin and don't tend to break out unless it's hormonal acne. I like that this sunscreen doesn't leave a white cast on my very tan skin. It goes on smoothly with no pilling, and it dries quickly without leaving a greasy feel. However by mid-day, my skin starts to take on an oily sheen. Other Shiseido skincare tends to make my face greasy. This is probably why the sunscreen does as well.I'll continue to use this as I find it to be an effective sunscreen (and sunscreen is the best anti-aging cream), but I probably won't buy this product again.
