I will not be buying one at that price. I bought the 3000 GPH sand filter for $130 a few years ago and was curious what the replacement cost would be. And you would have the sand filtering which is very nice. **Q: Will the 10in be ok for a 18x48 summer waves pool?** A: No I had a 10" for my pool that size that's why I upgraded to 16" and it is perfect! **Q: I have a summer waves 17 foot pool will this sand filter hook up correctly are is there any adapters pieces needed?.
