KomelonMK45M Meterman High-Visibility Measuring Wheel, 14.3-Inch Diameter, Yellow

I'm a runner, and I bought this to measure out intervals on greenways/roads when I can't or don't want to run on a track. It's sturdy, yet light enough that I can jog with it to whatever point I start measuring from. I assume it's accurate. Yesterday, I measured out 800m on a greenway, which already had markers every 1/4 mile. The wheel measured each 400m slightly less than the 1/4 mile marks, as it should. So either they're both equally wrong, or they're both pretty accurate.

The wheel rolls smoothly and measures accurately. It is very easy to fold into working position and very easy to use. However, I wish that I had examined it closer before buying because I didn't realize the counter was in metric increments. I suppose the 14.3 inch wheel description through me off a bit. I guess I would have expected to see a metric value for the wheel diameter if the device measured metric. But at any rate, I can measure in metric and convert the results to feet or inches with some simple conversions. Of course, I could use this as a tool to learn metric measurements better. Overall I'm quite satisfied with the ease of operation and I would recommend this product to others.

We love this product. It does it's job very well. Easy to put together and to store. Durable and reliable. Excellent product.

I just received my measuring wheel. Out of the box, it appears to be a solid product. Rubber on wheel and grip is nice and tacky. One word of CAUTION - this wheel measures in meters. Not a big deal with easy conversion tools, but I was expecting it to read in feet (my bad, because I didn't read the product title well enough).I measured against my 25' tape measure and it measured between 7.65 and 7.7 each time. Either my tape measure is off a hair, or the wheel is off by 1-3 inches every 25'. Not bad and I can live with this error for my purposes (measuring trails).I'll try to give another review after I measure some trails. This will help me assess durability better and how well the wheel works on dirt. But for now, I'm pleased with the purchase.

I read the description stating that the wheel measures up to 10,000-FEET. I used the wheel for the first time today only to discover that it is METRIC. I am past the return period, and the wheel is COMPLETELY USELESS to me. I am not a happy camper.

I just received this item, It is very nice, right out of the box. The measuring accuracy is reasonable with regards to my use. It measures in meters which is exactly what I need.However, what brings my rating down is the SHIPPING WEIGHT mentioned in the product information. Now, I did my research and could not find any other contradicting information (as the weight did not seem logical) until I shipped it over, and found out the shipping weight is actually 6.4lbs not ounces and this made a huge difference in shipping costs. This is a word of CAUTION to all those who wish to ship this product outside of the U.S.A. (it also should be changed on the product information tab).Overall, it is a very good and reliable product thus far!

Did not notice until too late it is in metric

Worked great for our week of mapping out our cross country 5k. We used it on trails, over rocks, and through mud. Measured precisely and worked well between several users, all males in high school. We cleaned it up and I plan to use it this season coaching cross country.

Great unit! Respectable build quality for the price, and very accurate! Only wish it did both metric and imperial. This is half the price you would find in a box store so it's a no-brainer. Just keep in mind this unit is metric (centimeters/meters), as opposed to what the description seems to imply.

Bought this to use on an odd shaped track for a race. Easy to use, seemed bang on accurate. Perfect!

Perfect for my Track workouts, where Metric distances are required.It is very sturdy and I look forward to having it for many years.
