Yellowed and muddy after only six years?
The pages have yellowed and the printing is dark and muddy. I wouldn't expect that from an art book that's only six years old. Hopefully LambLand will be better quality as I really like Marion Peck's paintings.

Much Awaited Compilation Delivers
This high quality book, published by Last Gasp, is an excellent compilation of Marion Peck's unusual artwork. Peck's pop surrealistic stylings may remind you of her well known husband, but Peck is clearly a talented artist in her own right. If you are a fan of Mark Ryden, you will like Marion Peck as well. Kudos to Amazon for the lightning fast delivery.

some sick stuff here
Pay attention to the paintings in this book. That's the Shroud of Turin on the pig in Divine Swine. Rainbow Clown is wearing John Wayne Gacy's wig. Jane Austen flips that bird. Rednecks party hearty in Bachanal. Marion Peck is an incredible artist and is as deranged as her husband Mark Ryden. Apparently they draw on the same sources-Keane paintings, Blythe dolls, kitschy kittens and puppies-Hey, where are the praying hands!-but each one follows his/her own muse-no doubt down a dark alley or into the gates of hell. If you love-not tolerate, not sneer at-but really love bad taste, you need this book. In a world of pretention, image mongering, blatant preplanned mediocrity, and fame whores-let's hear it for Lady Gaga-we all need art that inspires us with its quality and still makes us laugh with joy.
