I live in a hard water area and use 50/50 tap and deionised water as per the manual clean the scale out every month or so and use an old toothbrush to get right in to clear it out. **Q: Does tgis come with a warranty?**
A: You will have a two year manufacturers guarantee with Tefal, However you will need to keep your proof of purchase as this will validate your guarantee.

**Q: I note there are 3 steam options. I can switch between the steam and off options but the switch doesn't stay on the boost option. Is my iron faulty?**
A: For "Steam On" the switch clicks to the left, for "Steam Off" it clicks to the right. For Boost Steam (Turbo) it's a trigger underneath that releases when you let it go. I hope this helps.

**Q: Can anyone tell me how theirs came packaged in the box please.**
A: The box had been repaired where it had torn across the front.  It did not contain polystyrene over the top of the iron nor a measuring jug (not sure if there should have been one).  There was no protective film over the sole plate and there were finger marks.  It must have been a returned item .  How does Amazon decide which returned items may be sent to someone else?

**Q: How can Amazon sell this so much cheaper than any where else is a second or customers returns??**
A: Bear in mind may not be relevant to all cases. But I have ordered first one - arrived without any additional package. Anyone could open the box. Iron had signs of usage, protective foam chipped, no plastic bag inside, two guarantee cards inside - all the things you would expect to be in place when you buy a new product off the shelf. Requested replacement, it came two days later - exactly same thing. Presumably these are the originally "faulty" ones that are being fixed (hence why £10 cheaper) and sold as a brand new.

This iron is excellent! I've had it 6 months and apart from once adding water when the steam switch wasn't off which then mate it leak, it's been absolutely top notch. It smoothes the creases in my crinkliest shirts with ease. The best thing about this iron is the limescale filter! My last (Morphy Richards) iron had so much limescale and rust coming out of was ruining my clothes. I live in a hard water area and use 50/50 tap and deionised water as per the manual clean the scale out every month or so and use an old toothbrush to get right in to clear it out. The long power lead is a bonus too. One downside is the trigger for the turbo boost is too prominent on the handle so you have to learn not put pressure on your index finger. Thanks :)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really nice but heavy

Having searched for lightweight irons this came up and I was immediately attracted as it had all the features I wanted including a 3m cord, continuous steam and self-cleaning feature. However, I found it really heavy just getting it out of the box so I decided that I would return it as there was no way I could use it. I should just state that I have wrist problems so this may not be a problem for others who like a heavier iron.
