The best printer at this price and a great upgrade platform
Overall- Probably the best printer you can get at this price with good print quality at high speed.- An amazing platform for mods and upgrades.- Works well as an entry into 3D printing if you are interested in learning about how a printer works and how to upgrade it.- Not the printer to go for it you just want a plug-and-play machine, that is always a Prusa.Pros- Very easy to assemble. The main complaint you see is that the belts are hard to tension but it's not that bad. I managed to get them to the same tension in a few attempts. There are lots of printable upgrades to alter this if desired.- Very rigid frame which is excellent for high speed printing, will print some corner brackets to make it even better.- Print quality out of the box is very good, easily on par with my Ender 5-pro but at twice the speed. I went straight for 150mm/s at 2k acceleration and the stock hotend keeps up just fine.- Thermal runaway protection enabled as default as it should be- Large build volume- Easy to manually adjust bed levelling with the levelling knobs, bed stays level between prints- The best pro of all, amazing upgrade path to the VzBot, one of the highest performing FDM printers you can build.Cons- Whilst the touch screen works fine and the included firmware gets you going, to add or change advanced features (like thermal protection settings/custom fan curves) you will have to create you own Marlin firmware binary. It is not hard and you will have to do it with most any printer you buy, but it is an additional step which some might not be comfortable with.- The stock mainboard works fine and you could absolutely never need to change it, but it does lack some expansion such as changing the stepper drivers or adding fans. I plan to change it with other upgrades.

Tricky to assemble but a good printer with good after sales service
This printer arrives in kit form, so if you are one of those people who struggles with ikea furniture, you are going to hate this. But if not set yourself aside a good 4 hours and take your time. An internet review said to use a square when setting it up and to take your time tweaking. This was very good advice which pays dividends in the future.Be warned the assembly instructions however are AWFUL. I mean bad. Really bad. Badly translated and non-sensical I just followed the pictures, which led to a couple of mistakes resulting in a disassembly and try again. Make sure you’re in a patient mood.Tensioning the belts is interesting and the instructions dont give you any clues how to do this. I found that g-clamping all the moving rails in place exactly in the middle, and then stretching round the belts made this significantly easier and it was working well after my first attempt. However once it is together and square, you’ll have a great printer which has more than enough build volume, is easy to use, easy to operate, and has been producing some really great prints from really early on for someone who is a complete novice to 3D printing. It is my new favourite toy and I am obsessed with it.I’ve tried lots of different filaments and so far the Jayo branded filament has been the best. Its only a couple of quid more expensive than the Eono or basics filament and definitely worth it. And buy a bottle of the BDLac spray adhesive. The difference this made to both first layer adhesion and release of the piece at the end was phenomenal. All in all, a good and reliable printer. The after sales service has been absolutely brilliant as one of the sensors was missing from the box. This was sent out no hassle and they even sent me a program so I could still run the printer while the sensor turned up, and another to restore it once it had. Emails are answered promptly and they genuinely try to solve your issue without a corporate fob-off.

Great printer once it’s assembled
Great bit of kit, makes great prints. Adhesion isn’t wonderful, so recommend using rafts when slicing the stl file - if you are making anything tall. It’s an absolute pig to assemble. Allow at least 4 hours to put it together. Then 2 to set it up. It’s vital you get the levelling right. Otherwise everything will be awful. I’d recommend using the instructions as a guide, then using the various YouTube videos to actually put it together.Perseverance is certainly paid off. This won’t make professional standard prints, but it makes great prints. The software is relatively intuitive, again just use a few YouTube videos to understand what you’re changing.

Don't waste your time
1. Software - absolute rubbish. The latest marlin firmware is about 5 year out of date2. Auto bed leveling doesn't work.3. Original build plate not flat.4. almost impossible to tension the belts equally.5. Almost impossible to flash new Marlin software, without loosing LCD functionality.6. No way to adjust Z height on the fly.7. Print head not stable, has some movement even after adjusting the wheel alignment8. print head obscured by large fan cover (massively over sized), making it very difficult to see whats happening).9. Print head tends to leak, {requires stripping down and tightening the nozzle / heatsink.)10. Cheap plastic extruder drive, skips misses steps. Varies from too much extrusion to not enough.11. very slow to heatI ordered separately the glass bed directly from China. a genuine TRONXY Lattice Glass Plate Platform 330*330*4 mm. However even this was crap, very poor performance, bad adhesion with anything other than PLA.In order to fix these issues, replace motherboardreplace the crap rubber wheel with linear rails,Replace print head with something decent for instance a genuine E3Dreplace the cheap extruder driveOrder 4 mm aluminium 330 x 330 plate to replace the heatbed700w AC powered heat bed.Or choose another printer
