Makes great soya milk
I brought this for making soya milk and I am really pleased with my first batch. There is a special setting for this which takes away any guess work. Have also made soup which turned out great. It seems to be a robust piece of kit and I would recommend.

Don’t waste your money on this.
It worked perfectly about 3 times. One time the soup boiled over and out if the soup maker. What a bloody mess! Half the liquid pouring out rim the “sealed” lid... ugh. The next time it worked perfectly. The time after that the potatoes and leeks burnt the bottom of it and I’m still having a hell of a time trying to clean it. I have a specific diet and need to have soup often so thought this would be perfect for soup and making apple sauce, etc. I couldn’t be more disappointed. What a waste of 50 quid. I don’t think it’s returnable whilst having burnt potatoes and leeks still on the bottom and it’s not usable as it stands. After about 8 successful pots and about 13 attempts, I’ll just do more research on a better soup maker or simply use a pot and the hob and blitz it with my food processor instead. Don’t wast your money! How does it completely over spill when there is an indicator that beeps when it’s too full? No. Just no.

Absolutely brilliant soups in 20 mins. Cleans itself or a quick wipe round no complaints.

No fresh vegetable soup
Not really happy with this item. The blades are tiny so it doesn't puree the soup properly. My previous soup maker was far superior and cheaper. I have to put soup through a sieve as large lumps. Don't think it copes well with raw, fresh produce which is mainly what I have in excess due to vegetable garden.

Highly recommend
Excellent soup maker. Had a Morphy Richards previously, but this one is much better regarding the smooth soup as it blends it right down to a creamy soup; also very quiet when operating. There's a clear indicator inside so you know not to overfill it. To avoid any 'catching' on the inside, put half the liquid in first and then add your vegetables etc and there will be no burning - this is true of all soup makers. Easy to clean whether you use the auto clean or do it by hand. Obviously, you need to keep the electronics dry, but that's not hard to do.
