Opened it up, and it was stuffed full of the M77. Two ounces does not sound like a lot, but there is plenty of enough to do multiple brake jobs because a little goes a long way.Used a light coating between the backing plate of the brake disc pad and the shim. Coated the caliper piston face that engages the pad. Light coating on the ears of the pads.

Its hard to find a small container of DC Molykote M77 moly based lube (this one is ~65% MoS2 in phenyl methyl silicone grease) for brakes and other extreme temperature/pressure situations. This product and size fits the bill. After coating a small amount on the caliper pistons and the brake slides every little bit of creak and squeal is gone in both my cars.

This is an excellent lubricant for brakes. Silicone based so it is friendly to rubber parts and bushings. Small amount goes a long way so use sparingly. Bought this to use on automotive brakes and it works very well. You get what you pay for and I have no regrets spending more on this paste versus others that have not worked as well.

I am using this product on certain parts during a classic car restoration. It works really well and has a very low coefficient of friction. The improvement in the operation of my electric windows is amazing. Definitely worth the price.

Used this on the disk brake pads, on the tabs that slide in the caliper.
