This little tool could possibly prove to be the best on the market for the price of $5.49, and free shipping on Amazon Prime. (Note: I received this within a few days of placing my order - no shipping delays, ah hem!). There are many other wire wrapping tools offered here on Amazon that cost well over $15 and have many cumbersome parts to deal with. I love that this is an all-in-one tool, simple and small while being very efficient for its purposes.This wire wrapping tool is crafted of heavy duty metal that has a nice weight and balance in my hand.After just one "trial run", I quickly learned how to make several precise, evenly-sized tiny jump rings in an instant using this tool:Wrap the wire very tightly and close together as many times (or more) as the number of jump rings you need. After making sure the wraps are as close together as possible, slide the wrapped wire off the tool and snip the wrapped wire away from the spooled wire. Start snipping off jump rings, being careful to snip in the same place each time if you have a lot of wraps. As you can see in the photo, it is possible to create about a dozen tiny jump rings a time, in a matter of a minute or two.

Others have mentioned some problems receiving this item with a bent tip, but mine arrived perfectly straight.It is quite small, measuring 4 inches, so that could be a surprise to those who are expecting one of the larger models. But I found it easy to use for both wrapping & mounting coils, & it's impressively sturdy.For the price, I would have bought this even if I knew the 1.5mm end section would be bent upon arrival.

Amazingly convenient to wrap coils. Got sick of using screw driver shafts of varying sizes. For the price, it's worth every penny.

I have to level with you here. I ordered DIY Coil Tool to use in my jewelry making. I use coils of all sizes in a lot of my work, and until now I had used much larger coils. I love the graduated sizes I can achieve. The sizes are clearly marked on the handle which I think is very convenient. The shaft is very rigid and will give you nice uniform coils. I love that getting all my coils exactly the same size is so easy and how quickly it is to make a stash of coils. This tool will last forever because it's made of quality material. Meh. I don't really get the hype over these tools. It's kind of small and a bit weird compared to using an eyeglass kit screwdriver. Since the steps are only .5mm height/thickness difference you can accidentally slide your coil to the wrong size.IMHO, you would be better served buying a metric eyeglass screw driver kit from Walmart.

I bought this jig because I wanted a cheap tool to wrap my coils with. This definitely fulfills my desires. I considered the coil master, but decided that for now, being a beginner to building coils, this will suffice. It's a decent tool, easy to use, and I love the variety of thickness in millimeters.

As described. Pricing was good, definitely worth the $ instead of having to fumble through drill bits and screwdrivers to find the right diameter of your build. Between this and the steam engine ohm calculator, I can get the precise ohm reading I'm looking for while still being fairly new to coil wrapping. This is one of those "If I lost it, I'd definitely purchase it again" items.

I first saw someone using one on a YouTube video building some coils and I said thats a cool tool to have so I looked it up on amazon and saw the price and I was sold on it. Great tool I use it to biuld all my coils. Im new to the vape world so this tool is great for beginners.

Simply an amazing tool to have in your rebuilding kit tools, I think all the companies that do these toolkits need to include this in their toolkits. Every coil builder needs one of these and with x-mas coming around the corner this would make a perfect stocking stuffer for the hubby or other significant person. Heck, I would go far enough to buy one for my own stocking that they are that good!

Pretty much an essential tool in any vape rebuilder's kit, this coiler does the job quite nicely.
