Good Everyday Bag
It's lightweight at 2.30 lbs emptyNo chemically smellThe Material is nice and thick. It seems durable and is not flimsy. You can see that even without anything in it, it holds it's shape very well. The corners and flap are reinforced to help keep it's form. The top handle is thick and looped around a metal reinforced opening. The shoulder strap is set and doesn't twist and made of durable nylon and looks just like a seatbelt. One side stitched into the bag, while the other end is through a strong plastic loop. The buckle is also the same plastic. Not sure why, but the latch and the handle are looped through or made of metal, but the shoulder strap isn't.There is one quick access external pocket with a pouch designed for a phone. The external pocket doesn't have any zipper or seal The pouch fits my iphone 4 with a rubbery case, but takes some finesse to wiggle it in. iphone 4s with a plastic case and iphone 5 slides straight in but will slide and fall out if turned upside downThe zippers are metal, but the teeth are plastic The Latch:The flap buckle slides through a nylon loop anchored at the bottom of the bag. The nylon loops go through a metal reinforced opening.Once closed, it's secure.Operating usually requires two hands. This makes it difficult if you need to quickly access contents while holding something else (i.e. holding coffee or your phone)Directly inside is a zippered side pocket. There are no dividers or separate pouches, but there is an option to attach a keychain. On the inner side of the flap, there is a Terralinq serial number you can register your booq bag.So, if anyone with a strong moral compass or a person that believes in Karma finds your lost bag, they can go online and report a Lost Bag Found. Hopefully, you get it back with everything intact. Interior:The zippered opening doesn't open that much, but it opens directly over the macbook pouch.New MacBook Pro 15" Retina fitsOlder Unibody MacBook Pro 15" fits Leaves about 2.5 inches bareThe walls surrounding the macbook have some paddingThe bottom is also paddedThe inside lining is single stitched with more pouches. There are 3 pen pouches, a large pouch, and 2 smaller pouches. no zippered or sealed pockets Real World UsageTook it with me to the AWS users conference in Vegas.Held MacBook Pro retina, Chargers, Book, papers, pens, spiral notebook, glasses case, earbuds, some t-shirts from the event without problems. There isn't really any place for coins or loose items, like lip balm, eye drops, or an SD card.It doesn't fit upright very well under an airplane seat and if it was flat, items in the exterior pocket could slide out. ConclusionOverall, this is a great looking bag. I've had 2 compliments about the bag while on my trip.It held all my stuff and seems very durable.I hope it is just as durable and useful as my previous 10 year old booq backpack was. 4 stars

Great Bag, Some issues
I had this bag for awhile and I really loved it. Its very comfortable and holds up well. I used this to transport my Mac to and from work with me every day for a little over a year. I did have a few issues with it and I no longer use this bag every day. This bag does not hold much. Would carry my Macbook Pro 15", the charger, a wireless mouse, and a small file folder. That's about it. There are a few compartments but the flap that closes the bag does limit the amount it can hold. If you fill the bag too much it will not close. The hook clasps for securing the bag shut are very durable however they can be difficult to secure if there is a few extra items in the bag. This bag sat on the floor of my car and on the floor when I got to work but after about a year's time the bottom started to show a lot of wear.I do think this is a wonderful bag but I would not suggest purchasing it for every day use. Due to the storage limitations and durability I think it would be better if it was used every so often. If you only need to carry a laptop with you, charger, and maybe a wireless mouse, this bag is perfect... but don't plan on outfitting it with everything you might need for a day at work.

Beautiful bag, limited space
I purchased this bag because I wanted something reliable to carry my Macbook Pro (15"). This bag is very well made, looks greats, and you can even register it with Booq and if you loose it, they will help send it back to you. Awesome. I love knowing that the bag protects my computer and can look great at the same time. My biggest complaint is the space. I put the laptop in the matching Mamba sleeve along with two 1 subject spirals, and that's about it. That is all I can fit while still being able to close the front straps without a problem. If I want to bring my charger, I need to take one thing out, or just carry bag without buckling one of the straps. I think if you could adjust the length of the front straps it would make a huge difference. I'm still happy with the product... I just try not to take as many things inside of it.Pros: Beautiful bag, well made, comes with option to register the bag, adequately protects computer, waterproof.Cons: Not much room for other items, front straps are not adjustable.

Great concept; flawed material.
Upon first impression, the bag seems great. The industrial hooks on the flap scream quality. And then there's plenty of space for accessories in the free-form front pocket, as well as in the organizer of the main compartment shared with the laptop. The padding for your laptop is excellent as well, covered an a luxurious, satin-ish fabric. It's an attractive bag that seems well made, with a outer material that feels really premium. And there's the rub. Then I took the bag out for two - yes, two - trips to a coffee shop. Came back home, and noticed that the natural fiber material wears visibly along creases. The edges of bag gained a worn, distressed look to it. I suspect it's the linen-style weave that exposes white, non-dyed fibers upon use. It's not an attractive look and the bag appeared old quickly. A quick Google/eBay search revealed a similar appearance when used. That said, a "well-worn" look might be your thing, but I prefer that happen around the 5 year mark, not the 5 day mark. And note that I got the black version, and this may be a non-issue with the lighter colors. If it were not for this one issue, I would have loved to keep it - otherwise, it was a great bag.

BIG!
I ordered this for my new 15" MacBook Air and it was way too big. I could have gotten the 13" but didn't once I realized the beauty of the MB Air is that it goes inside my large purse and doesn't NEED a bag. But if you're looking for a stylish computer bag with plenty of room and NOT leather, this is an excellent choice.
