Great sound and easy to adapt
I recently swapped all of the speakers in my 2011 Jeep Wrangler JK to Polk Audio. These tweeters were the last addition. The Polk tweeters do not swap into the original tombstone tweeter housing, however they can be adapted. For anyone interested, these were my steps.1. Remove original tweeter face plate and detach the connector2. Remove the old tweeter from the back of the face plate.3. Drill a small hole (small enough to get the wires through) the bottom of the grill section of the stock face plate.4. Trim the wires of the Polk tweeters to about 8" and strip the ends.5. Feed the wires through the hole you drilled in the face plate6. Using a hot glue gun, put hot glue on the back of the Polk tweeter and center it on the face plate. Let it cool.7. Add additional glue on the back to make it extra secure. Let it cool8. Cut the adapter head off the wires in the "tombstone" and strip them back9. Splice the wires from the tweeter to the wires in the tombstone. The wires with the red stripe go together10. Tuck the wires into the housing and reattach the face plate. It was SUPER easy and the results look great.TIP:Buy yourself a set of bass blockers (capacitors) to keep the low end from making your tweeters buzz. Makes sure they are rated for tweeters.

Great replacement for worn out Bose tweeters
My Bose tweeters were worn out in my 19 year old Silverado, and these were a perfect replacement.Just opened the hole up to 2" and the speaker as well as the included crossover fit perfectly. Enough wire included to go all the way back to the head unit if you need to.Great sound and reasonable price.

Excellent set of tweeters!
I decided to buy these after having installed four of the Polk audio db651s 6.5" speakers in my Honda Civic. I was very impressed with the sound quality of the Polk speakers I had bought before and needed a tweeter replacement. These things sound incredible. They really compliment the four Polk db651 6.5" speakers I have already installed. Crystal clear highs, incredible clarity, and the build quality is very solid. I was going to by a cheap off brand pair but am very glad I went with these instead. Now the bad..these things were a PAIN to install but that is not really the manufacturer/sellers fault. I have a 96' Civic which had a speaker system by 'Acoustic Research'. It required a lot of jerry rigging to install these correctly. I'm not sure if this is some type of after market system or an OEM system but these Polk tweeters just didn't fit. I was forced to cut up the old tweeter mount to make them fit properly. Also I bought a standard Honda speaker harness thinking it would fit the wiring but the stock wiring harness was completely different. I had to run speaker wire from the stock harness to the ends on these speakers which works but was a bit disappointed that I wasted $10 for a speaker harness that doesn't fit.In conclusion I'd highly recommend buying these but just be warned that like most after market products you'll probably be forced to do some jerry rigging to get them to fit right. On a side note you can't beat these prices! Crutchfield, Frys, and some other retailers want $100+ for these! At $60 these things are a steal! Thanks Amazon!

Better than Stock
I am not sure if the stock tweeters were shot when I got the truck, but when these were put in, the sound was so much more prevalent an vocals were sounding so much better!~As a Audiophile using Polk Audio dB+ will give you the best sonic bang for ya buck, even with the tweeters!~

I still think you are very good - sound wise
Polk Audio, how I remember you in my younger years of experimentation with car audio. Now that I'm in my middle-age, I still think you are very good - sound wise. These tweeters replaced my factory, non-JBL tweeters on my 07' RAV4, and the new sound stage provided by these tweeters are magical - because I am hearing smooth and lovely highs that the old factory tweeters cannot reproduce. It's absolutely amazing for the amount of money that I've paid. I can't complain about the performance of these tweeters. However, I took 1 star off my rating due to the User Manual of these tweeters being inadequate, because there was difficulty of installation since I am only using the passive crossover included with the product. It took me 3 times of trials and errors before I could get the polarity and connections right - i.e. "crackle-free". FYI, if you are getting "crackling" sounds from these tweeters - your connections are off, and the polarities are wrong, since the passive crossovers are not filtering out your lower frequencies which these tweeters cannot handle, or was not designed to handle. The pictures and English instructions in the manual was confusing, and focused on Polk Audio's Active Crossover module - there was no appropriate instructions and illustrations for the installation of the included passive crossovers. For shame, Polk Audio!Any way, despite the time and energy lost in the installation - I recommend these tweeters as a very good "bang-for-the-buck" product! I had to modify my factory tweeters' holding brackets and enclosures in order to make these fit and perform. If you have a little bit of mechanical skill in Dremeling, then it should be no problem.

Smooth, clear, great price
I have come to prefer the sound of Polk Audio mids and highs. I have used several other brands over the years but I think I'm done buying anything but Polks for home and car audio speakers. I will still stick with Kicker and Rockford Fosgate for subs and amps, but Polk Audio highs are the best in my opinion as their silk dome tweeters sound very natural and the mids are tight and true. Voices, guitars, cymbols, keyboards, etc sound excellent with Polks and you have to really crank them to get any hint of distortion. I have Polk Audio in my vehicle, in my living room, bedroom, garage, had them in my boat, homemade ice chest stereo, and even hanging on my shed by the pool.
