Worked BUT Bluetooth connection issues...
Husband purchased a different device, years ago, that cost more, for his Harley Deuce. I believe he bought it from HD. This one was purchased to use on a 2015 Softail Deluxe with about 5000 miles on it. This device is married to a specific motorcycle. Once used, it can never be used again on a different motorcycle, regardless of model. Fair enough. They have to have protection so people don't use it on their friend's motorcycles... etc. I can live with that. They have to be able to make money so they can develop and update products. A very reasonable expectation. After it was purchased and used once (roughly a week between first use and 2nd attempt), in July/August 2020, we changed the air filter type and needed to use it again. It would no longer connect via Bluetooth to any of the newer devices we had (most recent versions of the OS's on Apple ipad OS's, Android OS's... yada yada). Hubby said something about an upgrade that was done, changing its ability to connect. Cannot give specifics. Not privy to those at the moment. I just wanted it to be done. My part was that I paid for the device and wasn't concerned with the technical details. Eventually, he was able to connect it to an old android device (Note 4) with an older version of the OS (android 6 or 7) and older Bluetooth.Besides the connection issues, it did work. The chart that you get when you monitor the system is very helpful in understanding the fuel and air mixtures, once you can connect. The bike was recently purchased, used, and it was popping when the throttle was released quickly. That was fixed by selecting the types of pipes on the bike and the type of bike in the software. Then, after adding the new filter type ( a cone shaped filter), we did the monitoring to do a final adjustment. The bike runs a bit cooler now (monitored oil temperature) and doesn't require as much effort to get it to go. We are at about 5000 feet above sea level. So, no more popping and it runs cooler. Good for the engine and pipes. The fuel/air mixture could have been set at a lower altitude originally and the Vance and Hines pipes added without making any adjustments. Have no idea. It just wan't running the way it should have been. The bike was purchased from a dealer in July 2020 and you never really know where they got it, although there are likely ways to find out using the VIN, perhaps. Like with carfax. Haven't researched that. Just giving some background on the purchase. So, generally happy, but very concerned that it will stop connecting if we ever make other performance changes or if we move within the next year or so to a lower or higher altitude. It is a lot of money for a device that could stop working at any moment. I cannot imagine that they would expect us to buy a new system every time you change something on the same bike. Don't think the connection issues are due to copy protection, but that is not a definitive. We have several different types of devices (professional necessity). There could be a limit to the number of mac numbers that would be tied to connection. As we were able to finally connect it via one of our older devices, that is probably not the case.A note on our technical experience in general. My husband is an IT professional who has been working with systems since the 80s and is still professionally employed in that capacity. Has done software development, database and system administration and unix. A total tech nerd in general. No stranger to technical systems and problem solving. I have also done tech support and have several certifications in IT. So no one can BS us with respect to faulty software or connection issues. That being said, it can be hard to keep up with all the OS versions and the ever changing updates to Bluetooth, etc by various device manufacturers. Without access to the specifric code and components, it is always an educated guess as to the true issues and you troubleshoot to narrow things down. Not easy for any company to keep up with all the changes by manufacturers of the assorted devices we use to connect via Bluetooth. Hence the 4 stars instead of 3. Not sure of the Bluetooth version of this device. This should not be a reflection on the seller, as the seller has no control over the device manufacturer's software. We received the device very quickly after ordering it. No problems there at all.IF we get any further information regarding the device software and any updates, I will add that here. Hope this is helpful.

2014 Streetglide Special
Very easy to use and did what it was supposed to do 2014 Streetglide Special front plug wire rubbed a hole in the side of it under the tank where you can't see it unless you pull the wire down "There is an artical about this problem on Mt Rushmore bikes and later" That was the start of the engine missing problem Replaced New Harley plugs"Also found out to use orgional Harley plugs due to the resistance and the anti knock sensors not being able to read the aftermarket plugs correctly. And that is true I found out during my trial and error stage of this problem Wires, plugs, coil and still an intermittent mis The only thing I did when I bought it new was cut the baffles out of the stock pipes because I simply wasnt dumping a lot of money into a new bike right out of the gate. I put the tuner on it and road about 30 miles and remaped the ECM for the first time using Auto Tune feature and it straightened the bike right up. I've sense added a high flow air filter and new slipons and its tuned it perfectly after adding those. The throttle response feature I really like as well. Money well spent

AMAZING, BUY IT!!!
Absolutely love this tuner, I installed it on my 13 super glide and I input all my aftermarket stuff and built the map, and wowwww what a difference and auto tuning is an amazing feature to tune your bike to how you ride specifically!! Highly recommended

Could not install due to prior tuner
I'm sure this is an excellent product, however, no where in the product description or on-line does it make any reference to other tuners. My bike had a prior Master Tune II and I thought that the FP3 would over-write the prior install similar to a computer file being updated. FP3 would not install. Option to pay for the removal of Master Tune II and then install FP3, or return the FP3 to the retailer and update the MT II. I updated the MTII and it still cost or $400.00 but it was the more economical of the two.

As easy as it should be
No issues at all! Plugged right up and flashed. Running autotune now, and again no issues. Too bad they're discontinuing it for the FP4 which is not ready for prime time yet.

A good easy to use system....
FP3 works just like it says it does...Some of the new updates are annoying.... but all-in-all, not disappointed....

Awesome
Seriously the best investment for any fuel injection bike. The programed map alone made my bike feel like factory again. I've been running the autotune now for about 100 miles and it's getting even better. Will run it on every harely I own.
