Review: Great Read - If you have been hooked by this universe then you will enjoy this book. Dialogue is fun and the characters are interesting and realistic. There is more than one love story going which makes it fun for the romantic. This series included some pretty horrible villains. The things done by these villains are horrible and are most assuredly torture and sadism. While Lackey attempts not to be overly explicit, the descriptions are enough that if you don't like such things, then these books may not appeal to you. But they are balanced out by the fact that there are some phenomenal heroes and their great acts of heroism. I can’t wait to see what happens next in Valdamar.

If you have been hooked by this universe then you will enjoy this book. Dialogue is fun and the characters are interesting and realistic. There is more than one love story going which makes it fun for the romantic. This series included some pretty horrible villains. Overall this book is as wonderful as all of Ms. Lackey's stories, the biggest problem with it is the fact that whoever did the typing and proof reading failed miserably! There are so many errors that at times the sentences make no sense.
