It has laces and eyelets, no hooks it's velcro. I was going to purchase a second one at the office but too expensive! Thank God I'm done with wearing it but it was comfortable and so supportive when it was needed. Good luck to you, and wear it when you should! **Q: Is this FSA eligible?** A: Just get a note from your physician or reccommeding the itemand you will be eligible. **Q: Can you really wear your regular size shoe over this?** A: I wore it over my tennis shoes. I ware a wide shoe. I bought it, tried it and it fit otherwise I would have returned it. I don’t ware it anymore because of foot surgery. **Q: what are the removable stays they are talking about do they go on side of ankle are they stiff to provide support?** A: YES THE REMOVABLE STAYS ARE ON THE SIDES OF THE BRACE. They are not very stiff if you need support. The brace itself is convenient to put on vs the lace up kind. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ossur FormFit Ankle Brace with Speedlace & Figure 8 Straps | Single Pull Closure & Removable Semi-Rigid Stays | Ankle Immobilization Post Injury or Prophylactic Use | Durable Material | (Large) - Ossur FormFit Ankle Brace with Speedlace & Figure 8 Straps | Single Pull Closure & Removable Semi-Rigid Stays | Ankle Immobilization Post Injury or Prophylactic Use | Durable Material | (Medium) - Ossur FormFit Ankle Brace with Speedlace & Figure 8 Straps | Single Pull Closure & Removable Semi-Rigid Stays | Ankle Immobilization Post Injury or Prophylactic Use | Durable Material | (Small) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sc/products/117140540-ossur-form-fit-ankle-with-speedlace-brace-size-large-13](https://www.desertcart.sc/products/117140540-ossur-form-fit-ankle-with-speedlace-brace-size-large-13) --- *Product available on Desertcart Seychelles* *Store origin: SC* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
