It comes out thick and leaves a white residue on the body. It also doesn't come out very easily. It would definitely be visible if you were wearing sandals as it does not rub in. This product seemed to make the skin on my feet even more rough for a while. After using it for several weeks, I can honestly say it has not made a real difference to the callouses on the top of my feet. They are still rough and have not softened. Perhaps this product works for others or for another purpose, but if you have callouses on your toes deemed "runners callouses" from a dermatologist, this product may not work for you.
