I purchased it from Harbor Freight . It is made for airbrushing. I purchased my hose from them as well. The hose is 10 ft. and is the cloth braided one they sell. I have had these for 2 years so far and no problems. **Q: Will this work with interior latex paint? I want paint HVAC grills the same color as the walls** A: A good clean airbrush will, generally speaking, apply pretty much any liquid of the proper consistency. Here are the caveats. 1. A paint with a very coarse pigment may clog the nozzle. Be sure the pigment is very fine. 2. The latex paint must be thinned to a consistency that will allow proper application without visible reduction of the color (about the consistency of milk, e.g.). 3. Because of the simple mechanics of the airbrush, you may experience some drying of the medium before the paint gets to the surface of the grill. Hold the nozzle fairly close to the surface. This, unfortunately, will create a fairly small circle of coverage. Now, all that said. I would switch to a .5 needle/nozzle or, better, a spray gun or rattle can vs. airbrush. I imagine your grills are fairly large (24" on a side or more) and airbrushes are best with small objects and fine patterns.
