I read some reviews and yes, there are parts of the molding inside of the trash can that does rip the bags when pulling them out. All you have to do is get some GORILLA TAPE and tape up all the little 'moldings' after that BAM! Perfect trash can!!!!! Just flip up the lid and there is a locking mechanism which we don't use because we don't have kids that would get into it. Also, its easy to clean. Looks nice AND is really big! My grandfathers trash can held a huge amount of trash in it so looking for one that held a similar capacity was a nightmare. Not to mention a lot of them were really really expensive. This is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! I cannot give it enough stars! Like I said just tape up the moldings from the inside. It is easy to assemble. Easy as 1-2-3. Also, its easy to clean. Doesn't stain.
