Viridian XTLcam Gen3 Universal Light, 500 Lumens Tactical Light and HD Camara, Black, Fits: Most Railed Pistols

Had it for a week, played with it, shot it, returned it.#1- the buttons are trash. No click, no real feedback at all.#2- can't cycle through solid light and pulse. Once it's set to pulse, it takes an act of congress to cycle through all the settings to simply get back to solid. Useless in a tactical situation#3- no real time video viewing. Can't simply Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to a phone like you can with a simple $50 dash cam. I'd think for $450 this would be possible.#4- the battery dies in no time at all.#5- no real charging "on the fly" you have to remove the battery completely to charge it, and it only comes with one, so after paying $450 if you want a second battery to flip out with on the move you'll be spending another $100...Great idea, miles away from convenient.Build quality and sturdiness is A+. Viridian is awesome with customer service, this product is a miss in my opinion.

The functionality is very user friendly and easy to change. The light is very bright. I haven’t look at any of the video but I’ll update when I do. If I do ever have to use my concealed carry I want video evidence.

The media could not be loaded.  I think this is a really cool implementation of light + camera. Definitely great if you’re making YouTube videos of your tactical training and range shooting. If you ever need it for evidence, I suppose this will be good. My only gripe is the short battery life and no SD card slot. Would be great if this was easy to upload for iPhone/Mac.

I have the XTL model with the camera and light only.My problem with the device lay solely with the function of the light. There is a constant on clicky switch, and a momentary on....which is the same clicky switch, which only has about .5-1mm of travel before you get to the clicky part.Once you press the button to turn on the light it starts records, which is fine. The problem is that once you press the button again it stops recording....which means you can't pulse the light without starting and stopping the recording over and over and over again.If there were a way to turn off the constant on function of the light, and make the recording stop only when the button is held, this would be a fantastic device.

This wasn't designed for making YouTube videos, I use it with the instant on feature to activate whenever I draw my weapon from the holster. this is an insurance policy to help keep you from going to jail.

1080P full HD camera / flashlight combo. Mounted on lower rail of Ruger PC Carbine, the rifle sling mount makes it hard to mount ANYTHING there, but Viridian mounting screw can be moved from front to middle to rear, ALL devices should do (but don't). Weighs a little over 3 ounces. Tested briefly, works great. Video and audio excellent. Brilliant device. Will update if issues occur over time.

Its an awesome product, on a Glock 17 you cant even tell its there. Would be best for police accountability or home defense situations. 5 bright shots on video out of 5

The light seems to be much brighter than advertised. It functions properly and is worth the money.
