It’s impossible to see the differences on the models, so I’m happy to explain what we discovered to save you the same hassle. We ordered 3 different cuts in Columbia men’s field shirts. The seamed fairly comparable in quality and UV protection. Silver ridge 2.0 long sleeve: runs very small. An XL would not fit at all. Arms are also very slender, you would have to order 1-2 sizes up if you have large biceps. A very very slim fit. Bonehead shirt: runs large. An XL fit but was extremely baggy. We are going to keep it, the extra room could be advantageous hiking in hot weather. This is an ideal shirt if you like the loose, baggy look/fit. We could have sized down one size and it would have still fit. Bahama: fits exactly as expected. Tight enough to wear to dinner yet comfortable and roomy enough to wear on a hike. **Q: Is this fabric good for humid, tropical climate like South East Asia?**
A: I have worn mine in the Philippines in June, Turkey in July, Italy in August,  Mexico in summer, NJ in July at 95 in direct sun, Kyoto , Tokyo both in July and high humidity, Bermuda in July, and two years ago in Maui when they had the hottest September on record.  and it is the bestshirt for the heat. Sometimes , like in Philippines, and it is 100 degrees at a resort, I go in water with it so I dont get fried, it dries on me and cools. I wear mine loose.I am not one to brag but I wanted to give you every scenario I was in . I rinse them in hotel room, hang them in bathroom and it is dry by morning. Dryers get them out almost wrinkle free. I don't think mine has ever been ironed. I have 6 short sleeve and six long sleeve. Some I haveare 10+ years old and a bit soft but still wearable for daytime shirt. who cares if you are sweating your face and butt off

**Q: Whats the little loop for?**
A: I use the small black & white loop under the right front pocket to hang a small nail clipper or scissors to cut or trim fishing line.

The Columbia vecro loop can be undone to hold your fishing rod while you change flies, lures or bail. Just like a third hand.

The loop to the right of the upper left pocket I use for my sunglasses.

But what's the deal with seen holes in the top and bottom of the pockets?

A: Runs large. I usually wear large shirts, I got this in a medium because it looked a little bigger. The medium is too big.

I bought this shirt with the intention of wearing it outdoors on adventures. hiking, camping, backpacking, trekking. It is indeed a nice enough shirt to wear in casual settings or even to church and work. I have found that the material attracts and holds dirt, dust and animal hair and that the black color emphasizes these attracted materials. Lucky for me, I intend to get it dirty anyway so that's not a problem. The black color is warm in direct sunlight but the design of the shirt nearly negates that. The back venting and quick dry material ensure constant comfort in even the hottest temps. I really like the pockets on the front pockets. I will be able to use these pockets for the small tools and trinkets I use along the way. overall - I really like this shirt. Its materials and design make it comfortable and cool in sweaty environs. These shirts will travel with me on many adventures
