At the time of filming Office Space, there was no Red Swingline stapler, so Mike Judge had some painted red at an auto body shop, so it would show up good on film Due to the success of the movie and people looking for the red stapler, Swingline began producing them, and they became one of their best selling products. I purchased the red stapler to go along with the Office Space DVD, as a gift, and it was well received. The product is just like any Swingline stapler, except it's bright shiny red, just like Miltons movie stapler. I recommend this great product, even if just a momento of this wild and weird movie!

I folded a large envelope full of junk mail in half, and this sucker stapled it, no problem! Didn't even require much effort. If I try to staple more than like a dozen sheets with my tiny miniature Swingline stapler it jams about 25% of the time. But this stapler is a beast, it literally never jams. And this is just using Wal-Mart brand Standard Staples, box of 5000, 210 in a strip. No problem stapling over 25 standard sheets, I didn't try more than that, don't want to abuse it. But 20 sheets of standard weight low cost photocopy paper is a joke for this stapler. Either handheld stapling with one hand, or flat on a desk.

The only thing I can tell you from personal experience is that the red Swingline stapler is really cool! I bought them for two grandchildren who graduated from high school this year. I always make a big school supply box for my grands to take to college their freshman year. I've always included a stapler and thought they would each love a red one! They did like their red stapler. As to how well they work, I could only go by the reviews which were very good and highly recommended these staplers.

The stapler is cool for those, "Office Space" fans. My only wish is that entire stapler was metal. I am aware of their all red metal stapler but it isn't exactly like the one in the movie. The top of the stapler is plastic but the base is metal. I managed to drop it halfway down my stairs while it was in its package. Didn't damage the stapler. It staples nicely though. We will see if it this plastic will last. 🤞🤞🤞

The Boss (Gary Cole) and others were always confiscating Milton's (Stephan Root) Swingline stapler. This is the model 646, but I don't believe it's as heavy-duty as I remember.

Got it as an on going joke at my new job that two months in they didn’t buy me a stapler and got nick named Milton. Nuff said about why I bought it. It works great better than metal staplers in my opinion it’s smooth operation and staples a lot of papers. Sounds ridiculous I know but it’s nice to tell my co workers when they use my stapler “excuse me, I think you have my stapler”

This is my stapler, I like the Swingline it’s the best staplerI had to replace my stapler when Lumberg took it, but this is my stapler, I still have the proper Swingline staples because I prefer the red Swingline stapler

A great stationery gift for not only the office space...but for fans of the movie 'Office Space'..."but then they switched from the Swingline to the Boston stapler, but I kept my Swingline stapler because it didn't bind up as much, and I kept the staples for the Swingline stapler and it's not okay because if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire....". Milton may not have had much of a firm handle on life, but he sure knew a good stapler when he saw one. Next time you see a Swingline in the cubicle farm, be sure to make sure it isn't Milton's and you'll be fine.

Don't be fooled. It's not a genuine Swingline stapler. It's a cheap counterfeit. But if you work in IT, this thing will get peoples' attention if you have it in your desk.Unlike real Swingline staplers, it's made of really thin, flimsy plastic. It works but it's nowhere near as heavy duty as the real thing. I wouldn't get this as a workhorse stapler, but it makes an awesome display piece for a reasonable price.

Awesome product. If you’re just looking for a stapler, there are more cost-effective solutions out there. But this is a visually iconic product, from one of the greatest cult classics out there. Quality is a tiiiny but lacking when it comes to the smoothness of the edges, but overall this was a worthwhile purchase to me.
