Ugh, I Lov This Phone!!!
I've had this phone for at least a couple weeks and so far it has been amazing! I can't believe the price for such an amazing, high quality, high powered, and high featured phone! I'm switching from an Alcatel Raven (that was also pretty great) and it's def nothing like this one. This is the international version but despite that it works perfectly for me. All I did was insert the Simple Mobile Sim card and follow the set up instructions. As everyone says it does come with set up in another language, but when you turn the phone on its in English. It's perfectly big, as big as an iPhone plus, comes with really cool features and gestures to make using easier: long lasting battery (the most I've used it is a whole day and a half and it still had life) fingerprint scanner is my fave, you can shake the phone twice to turn flashlight on/off, it has a battery meter, flick the phone a certain way to turn the camera on, 64 gbs, you can transfer your apps from your previous phone thru Google and so much more. I was initially worried about an international version but this has turned out to be great for such a low price!!! Hope this helps.

Be careful on AT&T
This is a good phone, and seems a good value for the price so far. Be careful on AT&T, however. Even though it is listed as supporting the LTE bands AT&T uses, we have had a great deal of difficulty getting the phone to maintain an LTE connection. The SIM we transferred from a Moto G5 was never able to connect to the LTE service despite all settings begin correct, and it took troubleshooting with a tech for over 2 hours and finally going to the AT&T store to get a new SIM before it ever showed an LTE connection. Now, it's spotty. The phone works great on HSPA+ and has better call quality than the G5 it replaced. The screen is bright, and my wife seems to like the larger screen. Battery life is good, but she hasn't used it enough yet to thoroughly tell whether it is significantly better than the G5 or my G7. My initial take is that it does not require her to plug in nearly as much, but it is still early going.I like the lack of bloat from Lenovo, but it could be improved. Forcing Facebook to be installed is bunk. Most of the unit though is stock Android with their gestures capabilities thrown in. Transfer was relatively simple from the G5, but it ran into some errors I attribute to Google not Lenovo in this case, and getting her up and running was pretty quick. The camera is fine for what it is used for. It takes good pics and videos of the kids and things she needs to document from time to time for her work. I can't honestly tell the difference between her pics and the reference pics of any $1000 phone out there. All in all, I'm likely to stick with Lenovo/Motorola as they provide a great value phone, that does what a phone is supposed to be able to do first and foremost -- make and receive calls. The rest of what it does is the same as $1000 phones as far as I'm concerned, and don't see a reason to spend that kind of money on a 6" screen; I'll save that for a PC.

So far, really great
Consider the downsides to this international version: 1) no access to CDMA carriers like Verizon, 2) the box and readme pamphlet are in Spanish, 3) certain GSM bands in the USA are not supported, 4) concerns about 5GHz wifi capability or localization. To me, issues 1 & 2 are minor; I don't use CDMA and Spanish packaging is unimportant. Time will tell about #3, I had problems using a 3G phone in the past. Issue #4 is the most disappointing. I'm pretty sure 5GHz wifi is either unsupported by this phone or simply doesn't work in this region. It sort of makes sense that the international version costs less than the USA version of this phone. To me, the RAM and extra storage were deciding factors. Hopefully I won't regret the missing or incompatible networking features. The phone performs well. Setup was flawless. Battery life is great. There is little bloatware, except I was dismayed to see Facebook app present. I was able to uninstall it via normal steps. Moto customizations are useful. A decent clear case is included.I'm blown away by the speed of this new Moto G and its fingerprint reader.I hope this phone will be updated to Android Q. I read that is supposed to happen in early 2020.

Great Budget phone that feels premium
I haven't had a Moto for a while and I wanted a budget phone that didn't necessarily feel cheap. This device is surprisingly fast for the specs. Don't let the HD+ scare you. The LCD screen is very nice. The build quality is great. I have the Violet color and I love it. It has gradient coloration. It is a glass polymer- meaning glass like plastic back, aluminum frame, gorilla glass 3 screen. It has a 6.2 " screen. Low resolution but good quality. It has a single earpiece speaker that also serves as a speakerphone. It is front facing and loud but mono.5000 mAh battery. 4 gigs ram, 64 gb ROM, expansion sd, 15 watt fast charger, 3.5 headphone jack.Cameras are decent. Nothing great but you can get decent shots with some effort.Software seems good. Android 9 lightly modified.Overall for the cost I think it is one of the best phones available. It doesn't feel cheap or too slow. Has decent specs. There are certainly some big compromises but it is hard to complain at this price. No warranty is never fun but compared to buying a Xiaomi mi max 3 I think this is a much better choice.I am using Mint Mobile USA. Getting LTE.

Doesn't connect to 5G
I was so disappointed because this phone had the two things I really wanted -- super loud speaker/call quality and a big battery. But it doesn't connect to anything over 2.4G -- BY DESIGN! You don't find this out until you are deep in the weeds trying to find out why it won't connect, and then you read the "oops, our mistake, the description says it connects, but sorry, it doesn't." I know everyone is looking for the best gaming phone and the best camera phone, but for crying out loud -- kind of essential that a phone can MAKE PHONE CALLS.
