Review: The First Choice for Your 3D Printer - The 24v choice is a no-brainer. With most modern printers running 24v, this is the perfect option. No need to run a buck converter. I installed a switch and wired it directly to the power supply. I also used aluminum channels with diffusers, making a professional-looking housing. LEDs are bright and look great. I highly recommend these lights.
Review: Tremendously bright! Heatsink required! - These lights use around 120W and get very bright and very hot! Make sure you have a large heatsink unless you like cooking your lights. I used a double wide LED channel, but even that gets very hot; I'd advise getting a larger aluminum channel just so there's more metal to dissipate the heat. As for the brightness, the individual LED chips are too bright to look at, even through sunglasses, which hopefully explains just how bright these things are.

A: Please check the voltage of your power supply. 12V will not work and 120V will burn out the lights.

**Q: Why are my LED light strips flickering?**
A: Lack of wattage, some power supplies have overload protection, when the light strip 's wattage is higher than the power supply, the light strip will blink.

**Q: Why my LED strip is not as bright as your advertisement?**
A: Still lack of wattage, please choose the correct wattage power supply. This dual row led strip is 120W 16.4ft.

**Q: What is the max length I can run ?**
A: For 24V led strip, we can run 32.8ft with slightly brightness loss, but we still suggest you'd better connect them in parallel instead of in series.

These lights use around 120W and get very bright and very hot! Make sure you have a large heatsink unless you like cooking your lights. I used a double wide LED channel, but even that gets very hot; I'd advise getting a larger aluminum channel just so there's more metal to dissipate the heat. As for the brightness, the individual LED chips are too bright to look at, even through sunglasses, which hopefully explains just how bright these things are.

Manufacturer should indicate in more detail the minimum specs for the power supply to power the full 5 meter strip. What finally worked for me was a power supply of: 144 watts, 100-240V AC, 6Amp converter to DC 24 Volt, 6 Amp. Used with a 6 Amp dimmer switch and run at 80% power for plenty of cool daytime light.
