What happened?! But please read to the end...
Not sure what happened- these used to be the best in-ear headphones under $50. I previously bought a pair from a store in NYC that takes up an entire city block (if you know the one I'm talking about- you know its awesome). The headphones blew out some of my $100 over the ear phones. Then I washed them. Once. Twice. Three times. And they still worked, but the dryer melted part of the wire and the remote buttons got stuck. I'm an idiot. However, they still worked.Decided to buy these from Amazon- I buy everything from Amazon now- and was excited to see the price was nearly $15 less than the ones I bought from the greatest physical electronics store on the planet. But there's a reason: they just didn't sound as good. The bass- that's what drew me to them in the first place. Then the staging. Then the clarity. All three are still present in the new ones, just not in as much abundance as the first pair I bought. Don't know what happened. Still, the best headphone for the price- hands down. Just not what I expected. Oh well. They're good enough, I suppose. For the price... 3 stars.Update: 3/6/15 The bass is back!Everyone (should) know that many, if not all speakers/headphones/etc have a breaking (burning) in period. Some recommend 10 hours (I think that's average), some maybe more, maybe less. Just going off of my previous experience from the same model purchased from another store, these seemed markedly inferior. However, after nearly two months, the pair I bought from Amazon has finally found their form. Definitely worth te money, but I feel like (I didn't actually count total playing time) it took longer than 10 hours for these to burn in correctly. Still not as bright and deep as my first pair, but maybe in time they will be.Bottom line: definitely worth the sub fifty price tag (nearly half, when I bought them). Four stars now.

FANTASTIC PRODUCT!!!!!! Buy if you are looking for a longer lasting replacement to the Apple EarPods!
This is a fantastic pair of headphones and I would recommend them to anyone!Pros:-Tangle proof: Don't worry about having to take 5 full minutes (or more) to untangle your apple earpods. These barely tangle at all, and if they do it doesn't take more than 30 seconds to untangle.-Cord Durability: I personally sleep with head phones in and because of that my EarPod cord always ended up splitting or tearing, especially near the auxiliary jack end. Also the the rubber around the bottom of the part that goes in your ear always ended up ripping which allowed for more dirt to enter all the crevices. The Sennheiser cord has amazing durability and is really flexible. I haven't done any damage to it yet. One of the best things is that the auxiliary jack end rotates in the jack well because of the way it is shaped, which minimizes chances for ripping the cord.-Sound quality: The quality of sound is fantastic for earphones. This goes hand in hand with the noise cancelling feature of these earphones. Also, when I use these with Spotify, or any other music app, the sound is amazing.-Noise Cancelling!: YAY! These block out sound really well. I wouldn't say it does more than a pair of more expensive headphones that actually cover your ears (like Sennheiser's own headphones, which my friend has, so I have tested them before), but they do a good job for the price and I think they are comparable to Sennheiser's headphones' noice cancelling feature.-Remote control: The buttons are very visible and easy to use. No hassle necessary and the mic is of good quality.-The earbuds: Sennheiser gives you three different sizes of earbuds to fit the size of your ear. at first I thought the small one would be best for me because the earpods always seemed to be hurting my ears after long periods of time (which is not the case for these headphones). The medium size fit me best and the cool thing is that changing the earbuds is really easy and makes the earphone really easy to clean whenever you need to.Overall: These headphones are fantastic and I will most likely hold on the them for a lot longer than a pair of EarPods (which are basically the same price).

Literally only for iPhone, iPod or iPad. But otherwise, great.
I'm pretty big on music, especially if you live in a city like San Francisco where music helps you walk to a certain destination or relax while you're on the bus. I was in the market for a pair of simple yet good earbuds. I own a pair of Sennheiser HD 280 Pro and Sennhesier Adidas around-the-ear earbuds (but I mainly use this for sports and working out). The sound quality is good on the latter but I wanted something better I could use on the daily basis that isn't strictly for working out or running. Frankly, the HD 280's spiraled cable is a bit too obnoxious. When it comes to the MM30i, the sound quality is great. It doesn't have the quality as my HD 280 but it's better than the Adidas one. I was going to give the rating a 3 star but I decided to give it a 4 mainly because I didn't look hard enough at the description. If it's made for Apple products, then it's ideally made for Apple products. Reason being is that the volume control does not work on an Android phone. The middle button serves as a good pause/play button and the microphone seems to work just fine; I'm on the phone with my brother right now and he says it sounds like I have the phone next to my face. So no gripes there. So overall, these earbuds are great. Sound is great, microphone is great and the volume rocker would be great if I had an iPhone. So buyer beware, IDEALLY for Apple. But if you don't mind not controlling the volume without whipping out your phone to do so, then these MM30i should do the trick. Otherwise, look for another pair that's not entirely made for Apple products.
