Review: Terrible quality, didn't even last a year. - They have a decent amount of bass, but within around a month the foam bits fell apart and piece ended up stuck in my ear. After around 10 months they would be crackly sometimes and randomly disconnect. At the price they are I would expect them to last for more 10 months. I tried contacting the seller but they did not offer me a replacement or a refund.
Review: Cheap and uncomfortable. - For the cost I was surprised how cheap these feel. I was expecting better external noise protection, not much more than earphones with a seal. They feel uncomfortable, the earphone is too long to go under a helmet, sound not great.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What earplug tips come with these earplug earbuds, and can I swap them?**
A: Four pairs are included: 2 foam (29 dB NRR) and 2 silicone (27 dB NRR). The interchangeable tips slide onto the speaker stems, so you can match protection and comfort to the job and swap in fresh pairs as they wear.

**Q: Do these count as hearing protection on an OSHA job site?**
A: Yes. These bluetooth safety earplugs are OSHA compliant with up to 29 dB noise reduction, ANSI S3.19-1974 tested and EPA labeled, effective when properly fitted and used at a safe listening volume.

**Q: How long does the battery last, and how fast does it charge?**
A: Up to 12 hours of play on a full charge, and a 5 minute quick charge adds about 2 hours. Bluetooth 5.0, the IsoTalk noise-isolating mic, and the Quickdraw remote keep these work earbuds running through a full shift.

**Q: What is the flexible collar for, and can I take it off?**
A: The collar keeps the cord secure and tangle-free during active work, and yes, it is fully removable. At just 0.6 oz, these ear plug headphones for work stay light, sit low-profile under hard hats, and pack into the included zipper case.

**Q: How is the Liberate 2.0 different from the Basic Pro?**
A: Liberate 2.0 steps up with a 12-hour battery, 5-minute fast charge, lighter 0.6 oz build, 4 interchangeable earplug pairs rated up to 29 dB, a removable collar, and a zipper case. It is bluetooth ear protection built for long days.

### ⭐ Terrible quality, didn't even last a year.

### ⭐⭐ Cheap and uncomfortable.
*by E***Y on 5 July 2022*

For the cost I was surprised how cheap these feel. I was expecting better external noise protection, not much more than earphones with a seal. They feel uncomfortable, the earphone is too long to go under a helmet, sound not great.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ I think these may stand out if you're using them for work.
*by G***G on 10 June 2022*

The overall quality of the plugfones is a little cheap. The sound quality is perfectly acceptable. (especially if you like bass) The different ear tips are a nice touch. I personally prefer silicone ones. The carrying case is nice, however, I wish it didn't have "plugfones" plastered on the top. The sizes of the battery box and controls are smaller than I expected. So it won't stick out as much as I thought. The mic is probably a bit of a giveaway, I'm thinking of electrical taping over it to make it look like I've fixed the wire with tape. A problem I've had with these is that lot of earplugs in the UK are not the same colour as these. I've had a few people call them earphones. However, an idea I have is to buy a set of actual earplugs that look the same and wear those to work. Once people are used to seeing them, swap them out with the plugfones and no one will be the wiser. I'll link the pair of earplugs if anyone wants to do the same. 3MUF-01-020X1 - 3M E.A.R Ultrafit: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00ANO5WKQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
