Excellent product. I dithered on what size to order, but went with an XL and I am really glad that I did. I'm 5'8", 180-lb, 44 Chest, 36 (-ish) waist. According to the chart, I should have gone with a L. But... I kept thinking that by the time I packed some kit in all those pockets, it might be too tight. And it would be.The material is primarily cotton (which I wanted) and very soft to the touch. The stitching and zips are spot on. Yes, they are expensive, but I believe you get what you pay for.

I like the vest because it have two phone pockets that fits my phones fit at the chest and two on the sides . Strong pocket zip . Nice fit and it looks great with dress shirts and tie . I spend months looking for a vest like that . It also have many pockets for carrying your stuff . This is my second Scott vest .

I bought two vests from Scottevest - a Fireside fleece, and this 101 vest. I'm 5'11", 175 lbs, with a 35" waist. The recommended large fleece vest was a good fit - loose, but not too loose. The large 101 however fit like a tent. I ended up exchanging it for a medium, which is a much better fit for me. I had the chance to try on the RFID vest at a local store, and it fits more like this 101 vest.I actually ended up returning the vest I bought on Amazon. Scottevest offers various promotion codes, so it's usually worth buying on their website, as long as you don't need 2 day delivery. If you don't have a code, try Capital One (was Wikibuy). I had a code good for 25% off, but Capital One also had a code that was good for 20%.All that said, this is going to be a great travel vest. The RFID is probably better if you really plan to load your vest, but I'm mostly interested in safely carrying my basic travel documents and cards. I got the 101 because most of the other models seemed to have zipper issues. This 101 was the highest rated on Amazon, and I liked the idea of the cotton/poly exterior fabric. The zippers on the outside are large and work well. The two inside zippers also seem good, especially the bigger zipper on the inside left ID pocket. The zipper on the pad pocket is fine, but not quite as smooth.Since it is a cotton poly blend, I assumed the 101 would not be particularly waterproof, but I got caught in an unexpected shower, and the water beaded right up. An unexpected surprise.

This was a Godsend on our trip to Australia!! Husband loved it.

First the good: I really like the fit and functionality of the vest. The pockets hold a lot, and are very intelligently laid out.The vest is thin, but still fairly warm. I felt like the items I had in the interior pockets were reasonably safe from pickpockets during a recent trip to Paris.The not so good: The vest is very expensive for what it is. In my opinion, $130 is about $50 too much. Also, I can't really explain why, but the bright silver-grey plastic zippers scream "I am a tourist". A black zipper that matched the fabric would have been much more subtle.

Fits perfect. It may be a bit expensive but so practical and not too many pockets.

Used on an international trip. Worked great with multiple airlines, airports and the occasional cool morning weather. Kept all my docs and small gear safe. Jacket appears to be of high quality-I will be using it again.
