KMC LIGHTING KS101X6 Outdoor Solar Light 6 Pack with 4-Inch Fitter Base for Outdoor Garden Post Pole Mount 4.88X4.88X7.48"

I went cheap with the first set of solar post lights we bought and they sucked from day one. (hate to say it because I love Amazon but they were Amazon's top choice.) These are soooo much better. They are nicer looking, are way brighter and you can tell just by looking at them they have a much better (and larger) solar panel, plus it's covered for protection. I wish we had bought these from the start. Could have saved the money on the cheap ones we ended up throwing away that never worked. My suggestion would be to pay the extra and get a better quality from the get go.

Bought these a couple months ago when my husband redid out deck and love them. They are very bright and last several hours. I know for sure from dusk until 3 a.m the latest I've been up they were still lite and bright. Very easy to install and looks great. We have gotten lots of compliments on how great the deck looks with them. I bought 2 packs of 6 and ended up buying another 6 for my front porch after seeing how well they worked. We fully charge them for a day and they worked just fine. They are a bit dimmer on days that its overcast which is expected with less sun exposer but other than that they are fantastic. You won't regret buying. The photos where taken at around 8 pm and it was rainy a few hours earlier just to give you an idea and I live out in farm country with hardly and street light. They light up my back deck so I can sit out there without turning on additional lights to see.

Purchased these in June 2019. Carefully followed battery pre-charging instructions. Great looking light and very bright until a week ago. Now three of the lights are very dim. Only a 30 day return from purchase date. No way to contact seller. Seems like they should work longer than 4 months. We have other solar lights purchased 6 years ag and are still going strong.UPDATE April 2020 If you look in the instruction booklet there is an email address for customer service. Emailed them, replacements arrived in 3 days . Warranty is good for one year. 24 hours of sun before turn on.

Lamps arrived very well packaged to protect from damage during shipping. Assembly was simple with multiple options for mounting directly on dimensional 4" x 4" posts or using an adapter bracket to mount onto a flat surface. Needed to play around a little to understand that you need to twist the fixture 90° to activate the on-off-switch. Also, the direct mounting to a 4x4 was slightly over-sized, probably more from my aged 4x4 pressure treated posts rather than over-sized injection mold dimensions. After a month of operation, everything works fine and very satisfied with the value of these solar powered lamps.

I just had our privacy fence installed and wanted to jazz it up with the solar lights. I ordered the two pack to test - both lights were bright and lasted from dusk till dawn. I ordered 8 more to have 10 total around the yard. It looks spectacular. For the price, I m glad I found these. I do have to get some extra batteries since one of them starts to go dim before dawn but truly, I can't complain.Update: I had an issue with one of the lights not working. I contacted KMC and they made good by their product by sending me two lights to replace the one that stopped working. Now that is GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Edit: I've attached a photo. after less than a year, none of the 8 lights hold a charge, and I blame the yellowing of the lense up top. They now look terrible and don't get enough sun because of the discoloration. These were not cheap enough to excuse the lack of quality. I would never buy these again. I like they way these lights look, but they are not inexpensive. So after buying 2 four packs, when one of them doesn't hold light for more than an hour or two, it makes me very disappointed. They are all on the same deck, and it looks very strange when one goes out and the others stay lit. Probably a battery issue, but for the high price it should not happen.

I installed these back in May 2019 onto a stairway leading to a brackish water river. They look great, day or night! All of them are equally bright and make the path up and down the stairs nice and bright. Not too much, just right. It is now December and they are still all going strong. The path is shaded from about 11am onward...they only get sunlight in the morning. But they last for several hours into the night, until I'm well past bedtime. For the price, they can't be beat. I would definitely consider these lights again for future products.

This is the 2nd order of KMC Lighting. Each and every light is now out. Batteries did not last. Seller reached out once however did not provide a contact method - 10 lights and none are working. Waste of money. Do not recommend. We purchased others for our front deck and haven't had any issues. Go elsewhere because of next to no help in resolving matter.
