Worked pretty well. You still have to speak up a little for the mic to register your voice. Don't think you are going to be whispering hunting down your prey like Arnold in predator.

I was worried because it seems too small for my neck. I am a bit on the heavy side. My dress shirt neck size is about 18-18.5 and I can say that the throat mic works perfectly. I prefer the TX1 over the regular mic because it is more comfortable and I can eat and drink without a microphone in my way hehe. I would recommend buying this. The only thing that I would improve on is the shipping, but it is FREE shipping so I am not complaining. Seeing that the throat comes from Europe the shipping was pretty fast in that regard.

I can finally see why this product had been discontinued after such a short lifespan. This doesn't go without saying I'll keep using it, though.I like with how the product was designed, so I didn't have to worry about how to put it on.Being very concerned about the mic attached to the product, I tested it using the Xbox LIVE voice messaging system. It sounded pretty oversensitive since it could hear my button presses and stick and bumper clicks. Turns out that it faces away from the neck to pick up sound from around the user instead of directly from the user. When tested in-game, though, I haven't heard any complaints.I also tried testing the mute switch. Although the console says it hears nothing, I could still hear some unbearable noise from it... Until I realized that the earpiece is a LOT louder than a stock headset. Honestly, I find this beneficial.This product may make or break a relationship with the manufacturer because of these loose ends. Take precautions between you and the audio coming from your game console if and when you decide on this one.

As the other reviews state this is not a true throat mic, but combined with a pair of surround sound headphones its a great combination. I've been using with xbox live and have had no problems with people hearing me as opposed to every other mic i've used including the one on my turtle beach x41 headset as I am somewhat soft-spoken. Because I use it without any surrounding noise i wouldn't know about how it does with ambient noise. My one complaint isn't much of one, as the comedian Mitch Hedburg once said "Wearing a turtleneck is like getting strangled by a really weak guy all day." I get this sensation with this headset even though my neck is only about 17" around. But i do have a sensitive neck anyway. Other than that its defiantly worth the money i paid for it.

This is yet another standard microphone being passed off as a throat mic, ala the MadCatz MW2 throat mic. This mic at least lets you adjust the pickups, but is still only built to fit up to a small to average neck, large necks still left out. audio clarity is much better, but is only on par with the OEM headset. the air vibration mic in this throat mic is more sensetive, so my friends could hear me just fine... They also could hear just fine all that was occurring in the game. They indicated the sounds from the tv nearly drowned me out when speaking, and on the occasions that a friend in our party chat was placed on the other team he was able to use my mic for advanced warning when we called in strikes, or started taking objectives.I recommend avoiding the entire category of throat mics for the XBOX till someone creates a throat mic actually based off the skin contact microphone. Looks like I will be loking at the throat mics created for hunting/paintballing as many of them use the correct technology and have multiple pin adapters, maybe one wil work with the 360.

I bought this headset so that I could use it while playing online with my wireless headphones. It works great. I usually have the sound off from the tv so I don't hear what some of the other reviewers are talking about. It picks up your voice great and although it feels funny at first being around your neck you get used to it. I am very happy with it and will continue to use it instead of my wireless headset.

I got this because it was cheap and looked decent. I just recieved it today and well its tiny. Its good for maybe a child, but not for a adult. Other then that its actually really nicely built. Guess I am gonna have to get a different mic for myself and give this to my kid.

it really wasn't all that loud. It's not a real throat mic, so it just sounded like you had a mic around your neck. It would have been cooler if the mic was louder.

I bought this mic to replace a traditional headset that started make a horrid screeching sound. The delivery was okay to be honest, could have been faster but that's not the point. Overall I am very pleased with this product. When you first look at it you start thinking that it's not going to be comfortable. At first it does feel a little strange but after about 5 minutes of playing you totally forget that it's there, the sound from the ear phone is easily loud enough with good sound quality. I have found that the audio jack connection to the Xbox controller is altitude use but it doesn't affect the quality of the product. I would recommend this product to any regular gamer it is much more comfortable that the traditional head sets which allows you to game for longer in comfort.

Größe ist verstellbar und trägt sich sehr angenehm!Kein lästiges Mikro vorm Mund...man kann problemlos schön beim zocken trinken,essen ect.Man versteht mich klar und deutlich genauso wie ich alles gut höre!Also für den Preis gibt es nichts zu meckern...

Mucho mas comodo y practico que el auricular que suele acompañar a las consolas. No se te calientan las orejas, no se te mueve del sitio y no te aisla de tu alrededor. Y como no usa pilas, no te deja tirado a media partida.Aunque una version inalambrica no estaria mal :)

Die Hardware sitzt dadurch, das sie noch größenverstellbar ist sehr gut an, die Mitspieler verstehen mich laut und deutlich.Man hat keinen nervigen Ohrbügel und das Mikrofon muss nicht alle 2 Minuten neu "ausgerichtet" werden.
