Worry no more!With HAGOROMO Chalk Holder, you can safely place all desired chalk into a protective body and no longer have to worry about chalk breaking in half. All chalk holders come with chalk already included. However, these can be easily replaced with your favorite chalks! To use, simply place desired chalk into the holder and release it slowly by pushing the button on the back. Make sure the chalk does not fully slide out at once. After frequent use or when it gets dull, simply push the button again to wind up the chalk. The cap on all HAGOROMO Chalk Holders have a magnet attached to it making this product blackboard-friendly as it sticks onto all types of blackboards. The holder makes chalk easy to carry around without fuss or mess. The protective body prevents chalk from breaking in half or rolling around too much. Good for chalks with diameters 1.1 cm – 1.2 cm. Not good for chalks smaller or larger in size.Compatible with all HAGOROMO Chalks (Fulltouch, Luminous, and Newpoly). Note: Not compatible with HAGOROMO Large Carbonated Chalks

It holds Hagoromo chalk perfectly and feels really nice in the hand. The spring is over-eager and wants to shoot the chalk out, but I haven't lost it yet. (Unrelatedly, if you're not familiar with Hagoromo chalk, it's like writing with fair-trade unicorn horn. Give it a try.) I now have them in two different colors because I am a huge dork who carries colors of chalk, so they're easy to distinguish. I appreciate that you can choose the color and don't just get "randomly chosen." Overpriced for what it is, but it's completely worth the ten bucks.

This is basically a plastic tube with a spring and button-controlled clamps inside. It holds Hagoromo chalk perfectly and feels really nice in the hand. The spring is over-eager and wants to shoot the chalk out, but I haven't lost it yet. (Unrelatedly, if you're not familiar with Hagoromo chalk, it's like writing with fair-trade unicorn horn. Give it a try.) I now have them in two different colors because I am a huge dork who carries colors of chalk, so they're easy to distinguish. I appreciate that you can choose the color and don't just get "randomly chosen." Overpriced for what it is, but it's completely worth the ten bucks.

It works perfectly. The reason for four stars is because, since it works so well when I accidentally touch the button at the bottom of the pen the chalk pops out, & then my chalk falls on the floor and shatters into small pieces. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.
