Soft and made for sleeping. I ordered this one after having purchased the Coreline Cervical Collar. The Corline is great for restricted neck movement(if necessary). North to south or east to west. Plus it isn't so soft it changes it's shape. On the other hand, this cervical collar is great for sleeping because it doesn't get hot while wearing it. It is so soft, it changes it's shape to fit the contour of your chin. I recommend this one for nighttime or any time you are going to sleep. I recommend the Corline for daytime or all non-sleeping minutes to get the results you are looking to have in relieving your pain in your neck. I have both! Thanks!
