Use with Chalk Pen Wet Erase, Non-Toxic : Arts, Crafts & Sewing Review: Great great paint! - Great Great paint! The tiles at my school were impossible to paint without chipping and we couldn't really sand it in my small room. This chalk paint is the only thing that has worked. I love the old green blackboard look and please don't judge the paint on my painting skills. I did this with a kids paintbrush (think watercolor sized) in five minute increments in small free times throughout the day. It really does go on smooth and after upgrading my paint brush the next round of painting was much better but I failed to get a picture of that before this post. It went on smooth and had excellent coverage. One small can finished this wall all the way to the floor and then some to give you an idea of how much paint you get. I would absolutely recommend this and have already purchased more to do my desk in the room to match. I did a test spot and it looked as great on the wood as it did on the tiles Review: Coats better than expected! - This paint is wonderful! My daughter used a NON chalkboard pen on my easel and I needed to repaint it. I chose gray to match my decor and the paint coated the original board perfectly. Only 2 coats and no prep was needed at all. I used it on a serving tray as well! I will be purchasing this product again! ## Features - Be limitless, instead of using chalkboard contact paper roll, paint your own furniture, tables, bedroom and living room wall to draw your art decals - Include it in your decor supplies. Be limitless, instead of using chalkboard contact paper roll, paint your own furniture, tables, bedroom and living room wall to draw your art decals Include it in your decor supplies. Create your own bistro chalkboards, magnetic kitchen menu, mini signs, bulletin, calendar and poster board for kids Perfect writing surface for colorful liquid chalk marker pens with its smooth matte non-reflective black finish that you will surely enjoy Formulated for ghosting issues. Buy this paint and transform old and worn classroom blackboard to brand new. Best for exterior and interior use. It is easily applied using brush or roller and dries in 15 minutes. Washable and non-flammable. **Q: How does the wall need to be prepared and is it ready right after the paint dries?** A: I just wiped the area I was painting with a wet cloth to remove any dust before I started. I waited a 24 hours between two coats of paint and then waited 48 hours before I used chalk on it. **Q: how much space will it cover?** A: I used it to create a blackboard approximately 2 feet by six feet, I applied two coats. I had about a quarter of the paint left over. **Q: if painting this on painted drywall, is there a primer or specific process we should follow?** A: Great question, here is what the manufacturer's website says: Achieving the perfect paint finish: The secret to a perfect paint finish is in the prep! Ensure that the surface that you’ll be painting is free of dust and dirt. We recommend cleaning with a damp cloth and then allowing it to fully dry before painting. Multiple coats are recommended, especially if painting over a light surface. In this case, 3 coats may be required. Getting started - how to apply our chalkboard paint: Just like our interior chalk paint, you only need to follow a few simple steps. First, stir the pot thoroughly to ensure all pigment is properly mixed. Wipe your surface down to remove dust and dirt. Then, using a paint brush or short hair roller, apply your first coat. Wait 1 hour until the paint is touch dry for the second coat and another hour after that if a third coat is required. Finally, leave for 3-4 hours for paint to fully dry and harden. Decorating your chalkboard with chalk pens!: Depending on how often you write and erase on your chalkboard surface, paint touch ups may be required due to natural wear and tear. For longer lasting designs, we recommend using our Rainbow Chalk Markers (available in a rainbow of colours!) They are longer lasting, more precise in application and more bold in appearance than regular chalk sticks. Perfect for social media-worthy cafe displays and learning activities in schools. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great great paint! *by A***R on February 18, 2024* Great Great paint! Perfect for her birthday party for her friends to write birthday wishes. They all had fun with it. It was easy to remove the chalk and start over of course. It just seemed like a small container for the price but you pay for convenience. ## Frequently Bought Together - Chalkboard Blackboard Paint - Brush on Wood, Metal, Glass, Wall, Plaster Boards Sign, Frame or Any Surface.
