Very happy. - I needed a new biscuit barrel, preferably cream and one that actually kept the biscuits fresh. I saw this and it seemed to fit the bill. I’m really pleased with it. It’s a good size. I can get two packets of biscuits inside without unwrapping them and the contents of three packets when unwrapped ( not the extra large packet size). It’s a really nice finish and very easy to clean in warm soapy water. The lid is bamboo so I didn’t submerge this in water. I just wiped it over. The lid has a plastic strip around it that creates the seal. This strip can be removed for cleaning and is easy to pop back into place. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and I’m pleased to report my biscuits have remained fresh, crunchy and tasty. I note some reviewers had problems with the seal coming off but I’ve not encountered any issues. This feels and looks great quality and is definitely worth the money.
