Carlon Rc4130 Wireless Push Button Door Chime

This is in a great alternative option to plain white doorbell pushbuttons that were the only thing offered with most of the wireless doorbell packages available. If you have an older, more traditional home, this is much more appropriate. I like that it could be installed with screws hidden in the back plate, behind the doorbell pushbutton. It works great, and I highly recommend this.

This was a replacement for an old, worn-out doorbell button. It was available at a good price, was delivered in a timely way, and was simple to install. It is working well. I am very pleased with the product and the service.

Had purchased the wireless doorbell about 5 years ago and the wireless button stopped working. My wife wanted a fancy button out front instead of the plain white plastic one it came with. Could not find a fancy wireless button but this one looks great and matches well with any brass hardware. MOunting was simple and there was no programming as I my doorbell is a THOMAS BETTS. THis one has better range too than the original one which didn't work through the door frame where it was mounted.

I ordered this in addition to the cordless Thomas & Betts RC3306F Carlon Wireless Chime thinking for $18.00 it may actually reach out the "approx. 150' range". No go, it's range is limited to about 50'. I have it mounted outside the garage door and sometimes it may reach the distance. The doorbell button that came with the Chime works as well as this Spendy Optional one does. The button that came with the Carlton Wireless Chime has the same range as the optional one and is mounted approx. 18' from the Chime needing to go through only one wall.

I bought this product to replace a doorbell I've had for a long time and the weather had done it in. It's perfect, it works fine with my base unit and the price was right.

it worked fine for 8 months then stopped working. changed batteries, nothing worked. i would call it cheap junk but it's not really cheap.

It does work and has some charms. The usual charms you hear.

Difficult to install if you want to screw it in. The battery contact places a lot of tension on the edge of the batteries with nothing else to keep them in place while the back cover is off. The batteries don't want to stay in place with the back cover off, which you must remove if you plan to screw it into place. Installing right side up, the batteries would not stay in place. Even installing upside down, the batteries shot out over and over again. No joke, they literally shot out of the back of the doorbell button I had to chase the battery down several times.It is one of the best looking wireless doorbells I could find. It does look pretty good.

Very good quality. Easy to install. Using with Thomas and Betts 4120 wireless door Bell. Works well. Highly recommend.

This is a well built doorbell button and should be included with the chimes. Please note if you are replacing the standard doorbell button that comes with the chime the screw mounting is spaced differently. That is why I removed one star otherwise I would have given it five full stars.
