Pink Tomy Starlight Dreamshow Musical Baby Night Light

I purchased a Tomy dreamshow for my daughter when she was born. She is now 10, I purchased this new colored one (original one is yellow) and she still uses them. The original Tomy one still works 10 years later after everyday use! It has a timer to play for 5 or 10 mins and then it shuts off. It plays cute colorful pictures on the ceiling and rotates the images while the music plays. This is a must have for any young child. When the batteries begin to run low, the pictures still display on the ceiling but they do not rotate. Music still plays until it starts to sound sluggish. Replace the batteries and the joy begins again. I would say the batteries last for approximately 3 months of everyday use. Thats a rough estimate because Ive not ever kept track of how often I replace batteries.

I bought this music box for my granddaughters one year old birthday. My sister has one in yellow for her son and he will not go to sleep without it. Not only does it play music, but displays pictures on the ceiling. You can set the timer for 5 or 10 minutes. The product is sturdy and does not feel cheap at all. It is made of very sturdy plastic and is easy to clean!The product was delivered well packaged and arrived on time. If you are looking for something simple yet effective then I would highly recommend.

For the price I paid, I did expect a bit more, there's only a couple lullabys and the light show is just the same few images swirling around and around. I would look for something a little better than this. If I had paid maybe $14-16.00 for this, then this is what I would likely expect and not complain.

This is a sweet nightlight and the pictures that go on the ceiling are great. Our big complaint is the lack of volume control. It is sooo loud.

I was looking for something for my baby to use in her room after I took down her mobile and found this. However, my toddler kidnapped it before I even got it to my baby's room. She loves it! The music is really sweet & soft and the picture rotates on the ceiling. She loves to switch between the songs w/ the push of a button. It lulls her to sleep so nicely. I dug up a old fishie light up soother for the baby that my toddler used to use and put it in the baby's room. The one thing that I think it nice about the fishie for the baby is that it has a big button that she can easily push if she wants to on her own to go back to sleep (which she often does w/ her toes), the projectors button is not accesible for a baby (its on the back) but my toddler can do it just fine. I think if it takes your baby more than 10 mins to fall asleep (thats how long it plays before switching off), she/he would get frustrated not being able to start it up again. So that's the only complaint, otherwise this is a super cute toy.

This is our son's favorite toy. He is 14 month and can turn it off and on and move the projected image. Hours of fun. The batteries last a long time. Highly recommended.

My first Grandchild and what a perfect gift to my Son and his Wife. We all loved this display on the ceiling and it worked like Magic for putting my grandchild to sleep!!! ZZZZZZZZZZIt took awhile to receive it, about 3 weeks, but well worth the wait.
