Review: Update: change to 5 stars - Experienced installer myself, could not get this protector on without dozens of huge bubbles that wo - UPDATE8/1/15: I initially had several issues installing this not once, but twice, and both times Anker sent me a replacement within days of letting them know the issue. I had a family emergency that kept me from being able to let them know how the second unit install went, and they followed up with me anyway. I just received my 3rd screen from them, and I, and I'm sure Anker too, am happy to say I had a 99% flawless install. One issue I had on third one was lifting off the sticker pull accidentally lifted up the protector edge just a smidge and allowed for some debris to get in there. However, I do not fault them for that, and the impurity is barely noticeable. I am so pleased with the product, but most importantly, with Ankers determination to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I have recently ordered an iPad Air2 and am giving my mom the original Air as a gift, and I just ordered another screen from these guys. They not only have one of the lowest prices out there for ballistic glass, their customer service would be worth paying 3 times the amount. I highly recommend this company, even if you do have issues installing like I did, you can rest assured that they will take care of you if you only let them know what the issue is. I have been installing screen protectors for I don't even know how long. Working in a cell phone business, you get pretty good at it. I usually buy Tech Armour, but 50$ vs 10$ for the Anker, I figured it was at least worth a shot. I've had good experiences with other non screen protector items from Anker, so I know they usually aren't junk. After receiving the SP (screen protector) and reading the instructions and watching the video, the installation is virtually the same as every other SP out there. My iPad was spotless and dustless, and installing the SP was very easy. Lined up easily and cleanly to the cutouts. However, I immediately noticed dozens of quarter and 50¢ piece sized bubbles forming. I immediately began "pushing" them towards the edges, and was able to get a few out, but 7-8 of them stayed firmly where they were created. I inspected the bubbles and there was nothing there to have created ANY bubbles, but definitely not in the size I had. I went to Ankers website and wrote for some support, as they say the SP's are fully guaranteed. Small print however, showed that was only if purchased on their website apparently. I was left with no option but to use desertcarts wonderful return/refund feature. Money was refunded within a day of UPS picking up the junk SP. Anker had sent me an email via the desertcart protocol, asking how the new SP was working, was I satisfied, etc etc. I wrote them back, with basically the same things I have written here, expressing my desire to have tried to use the Anker product again, rather than going to Tech Armour again. Auto response from them stated I would get a response to my email usually within 24 hours. This was June 25th. Still waiting for that response. Tech Armour would have already sent me a new replacement by now. I know, because I have had it happen. So, not only am I disappointed in the SP itself, but more so, I'm disappointed in the (non)service I received from Anker. I guess I should have remembered, you get what you pay for. Luckily I was refunded what I paid. But Anker is losing me as a future customer for any future products they might have, unless I hear back from them fairly soon. Not holding my breath though. Recommendation: I would not buy, simply for the lack of support should you need it. The SP itself is a decent piece of ballistic. And price is unbeatable. But if you need assistance, you probably won't get it.
Review: Anker vs. CoolReall: Anker by a nose. Video is great. Hinge stickers included. Self-facing camera cutout. - I bought this for my Air and the CoolReall for my Mini. both worked as described. The Anker offers more stickers (that you actually use) as well as a video (VERY helpful...watch it). The CoolReall installed easier (slightly), but I think that was more of the Mini screen size than the product itself. That said, Anker is my preferred glass protector at this point. Pros: Has cutout for self-facing camera (CoolReall did not) inexpensive (maybe a dollar or 2 more than CoolReall) free Youtube video (great!) - even though you can use it for other brands, you have to give Kudos to Anker for creating it stickers are labeled well, and work perfectly for their task (hinges, dust removal, etc) Dust removal sticker SAVED ME. very clear, glossy, smooth. Feels and looks great. (no more ugly, fuzzy, abrasive feeling screen protector) Fits under my rubberized hard case Hinge method of installation is the best way I have ever seen. excellent packaging to prevent shipping damage Cons: MAYBE a dollar or 2 more than competition (maybe) got a spec of dust under it when installing (not really Anker's fault) Anker doesn't send a live person to your house with a portable clean room to install it...for SHAME! Because the Anker provides an excellent video on how to install, and the front facing camera, and the hinge stickers, I have to say I give Anker the edge over CoolReall (as that's the only other tempered glass I've used). They are similar in price, but as I said, Anker has the edge. The alignment and hinge sticker setup worked better on the Anker (CoolReall didn't provide hinge stickers so I fashioned my own from scotch tape. It worked, but the hinge stickers from Anker worked better). I watched the Anker youtube video (search: Anker Tempered glass perfectly) several times to get it down, then tried it. I lined it up and put the hinge tape on, laid it on the glass, pressed/rubbed the center of the glass and it adhered very nicely. Then I saw it...a big, gnarly spec of dust with a dime sized bubble around it. I panicked a little, then decided to see if the dust removal sticker really worked. I CAREFULLY lifted the corner of the glass, not putting much pressure upward on the glass. This is an EXCELLENT way to crack the glass! Be careful!. I only lifted it about 2-3mm then put one of the still-sealed stickers between the glass, just to keep it from re-adhering. Then I moved the sticker back and forth along the edge while VERY lightly lifting the glass. I was VERY concerned about the glass breaking since it is pretty rigid. After slowly working the sticker back and forth to break the adhesion of the surface of the glass from iPad screen, I got the glass high enough to put the DUST REMOVAL STICKER under the glass to "grab" the spec of dust. I carefully inserted the dust removal sticker and "dabbed" it against the dust particle (or 2). To my surprise, it worked perfectly. The dust stuck to the sticker and I just pulled the sticker out carefully. Make sure you don't TOUCH THE IPAD SCREEN when removing dust. You can leave a fingerprint that will be then trapped under the glass. If that happens, might be best to just pull the glass all the way up (still hinged with the stickers) and start over. You CAN do that. I tried it. I had a little problem getting all of the bubbles out the 2nd time. After I pulled the glass all the way up (because of the dust, I laid it back down to realign using the hinge stickers. That went well. I pressed and rubbed in the middle of the glass. It got 80-90 percent of the air out. I was able to easily rub out the rest of the air with my fingers by rubbing back and forth. This time...no dust. The CoolReall didn't have any dust problems. That was the only thing that was absolutely better. Most likely has nothing to do with the brand. Just happened to have dust float by at the wrong time. That said, the Anker glass provided hinges and a dust sticker that was easily 4x the size of the CoolReall dust sticker. Given the choice, I'd go with Anker. If CoolReall was my only option, it works fine. If you can save a couple bucks by going with CoolReall, and that is your only concern, then CoolReall works as expected. You'll need to make hinge stickers yourself and watch the Anker video.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review
*by B***S on July 1, 2016*

Bought the screen protector because of the brand name and because it's price was the same as other lesser known brands. I bought it for my iPad Pro 9.7". It came packaged In a simple but classy and sturdy package. It came with instructions, anker stickers, and a cleaning cloth. The cloth is too small and cheap to be of much use - make sure you have a real microfibre cloth and cleaning solution before putting on the screen. I managed to get the screen on perfectly on the first try and it worked as advertised - the glass quality appears excellent and there were no bubbles but again I didn't use their cloth but my own coupled with screen cleaner. It fit perfectly. Time will tell if it prevents scratches and damage but I've lost a tablet to a child dropping a nexus 7 face down onto a hard coffee shop floor and seen my iPhone saved by a glass protector when dropped face down at an arena so I've got high hopes on this glass. Recommended.
