Not bad for an emergency kit
This product would be great for an earthquake emergency kit for sure. It has the three radio frequency AM, FM, and W so you can listen to any channel. Be aware that location is a very big then when trying to tune in. You may not get all the stations you may want if you are in a bad location. What is nice about this is if you actually tune into a station, there is a green light that will light up that says tuned which will indicated for you to stop. The crank can be used to charge it but for the best result I would recommend using the micro USB cable to charge it against a wall. It arrives around 75% battery power so be aware of that. Another thing I would say is that the product has a solar panel on top. I tried holding this into the sun light but I would not rely too much on this to fully charge your device. I left it out most of the day in direct sunlight and all it did was get really hot which I do not recommend doing. The tuning seems okay and the switches. The SOS will only work if you press and hold the button. This is a safety feature I feel like so you do not accidentally press the button and the sound just goes off. The sound quality is actually pretty good for this product. Its not like sound system good but you can hear the music and sound pretty clearly. It definitely cast an SOS that can be heard from afar. I would say this can charge your phone for emergency but you only get one charge and you will most likely not be able to use the other functions after that. The light is okay I would not say it is the best light but it does the job. Overall this is a great product and I would suggest it to people are looking for an emergency kit addition.

Ability to charge phone when power is out
I wanted to be able to charge my phone when power is out! I love the hand crank radio!iv.I’ve used radio a few times but all of sudden it just stops playing. I used crank to power back up, it come on but only stays on a few seconds and goes off. I crank it again it comes on for few seconds and goes off. Usually just few cranks it stays on long time but now it won’t! 🤔😱

The Hand Crank Radio
It's a nice little radio. Seems pretty easy to operate. I like that it came with an I-phone adapter, as I am thinking of getting oneIt has pretty good sound. The flashlight is very bright. A big downfall - In charging my radio with the USB cord the blue lights do not flash or light up to tell me how much charge it has. The red light for the battery is a bit difficult to see if you have older eyes. It also says you probably can not get a full charge by solar. The other draw back is the directions tell you that in order to charge the battery in a no power situation you need to crank it 130 to 150 rotations a minute for 3 to 5 minutes. That may be a bit difficult for older people or those with physical limitations. It does carry quite a few weather stations, none of which would work for me where I am at but I am sure that outside in the open I would get clearer reception. All in all although I am disappointed that my charge lights don't seem to work while charging it seems to be something that will help in an emergency. I got this to add to my bug out and weather emergency bag. I do plan to get one of these for each of my granddaughters so if we loose power from another storm they will have a way to charge their phone, listen to a radio and have a flashlight. All in all a good purchase that I am sure will be helpful.

I've enjoyed this radio more than I expected
I got this because it's one of those things I've known that I needed for years but never got around to getting. We were going on a camping trip and it was a good time to get an emergency radio. The build quality is nice and everything works on it. I'm not going to say the audio quality is fantastic, it's just meant to get you by. At the campsite, I ended up finding an oldies station and just let it play for a couple hours. Reception was very good with the little antenna and it wasn't a powerful station. The next day, I let it charge up in the sun. A few weeks later, we lost power for most of a day after hurricane Zeta. That meant that staying entertained would eat up my already low cell data. So after using this radio to hear the weather band, I found a local station that was playing hits from the 80s and giving reports on weather and power outages. It made an unpleasant situation a bit more enjoyable. I kept it on the windowsill so it was getting a constant charge. I didn't have any need to charge a phone off of it or wind it up, but I'm glad the options are there. The flashlight is useful. Just a warning, holding the SOS button starts a very loud alarm. I thought it was going to flash the light in an SOS Morse code, but I guess not! In all, a very nice radio and highly recommended!

1st returned with a VIP service and 2nd one works great
1st one seemed to have loose part inside, I was able to hear it roaming around when I winding the charger. The exchange process was excellent and I got the new one in 2 days just in time for Isaisa! Now for the function and performance. It support multiple ways of charging, you can charge via an USB, Solar and Manual Winding. Certainly plug it into an USB charge would be the fastest. It also works as a battery pack to charge your phone granted it is the old one, can't really charge my S10 not enough voltage. The sound quality has no compare to a boom box, but it is clear for the weather station, AM and FM. It also has a flashlight. Interestingly it also has an "SOS" button, I thought that it would just do a Morse Code of SOS, but instead it works as a flashing light and a loud siren! Scared myself and my wife... I got a death stare for that! :) Over all, lots of functions and all work well. A good buy especially it got here just in time for the Hurricane Isaisa.

Exactly what you want
This is one of the best products I've gotten , I ordered it and turned on all the functions to test it. Once I knew it was working properly I placed it in my closet and forgot about it . We had bad weather the other day so I got it out and it was still half charged and worked like it did the day I put it away.
