My first battery that came with the computer lasted about 2 and a half years. This new one I bought still continues to work like new. I have no problems with the battery now but when it starts to die fast, I will definitely buy another one from this company

IT WORKS!My original battery got warn out and to the point that I was forced to keep it plugged in just to use the computer. I did not expect much from this cheap battery, I was just looking to get a couple more years life form my laptop. I was impressed. It lasts approximately 4 hours with normal computing, 2 hours with heavy gaming and video, and about 6 hours with casual computing (checking email etc.). Charge time is about 2 hours which I did not realize was a problem on my old battery. My old one took 8-10 hours then would only hold a charge for about 1 hour. It’s funny how you get used to that sort of thing! This product does was it was advertised to do… work!

great battery so far for low price. Shiny surface, my mini is a matte black. Lasted about 4 hours at max settings on 1st recharge. Took about 90 minutes to recharge.

This battery works perfectly on my Dell Inspiron 1012. I get about 5 hours of battery life, same as the original Dell battery.I recommend this product.

The theoretical max of these is lower than the stock battery but it fits in just fine and holds a pretty decent charge, about 90% of what my original battery first held, but that battery only charges about half as well as it used to so these was a very pleasant refresh. I still cycle between my old and this new one to try and maximize it's lifetime. I'll update this in the event it starts to fail young but for now, no complaints.

I ordered the battery as a replacement for my wife's Dell netbook. On my error, I ordered the wrong part. I contacted the company, and they had me ship it back and replaced it with the correct battery. Outstanding service, no hassles whatsoever. They could have taken a different tact with me, but they honored their commitment to service. I would most definitely order from them again. Highly recommended!

UPDATE: I have had two of these batteries that I have been rotating for use over the past two years, and they are still working quite well. My Dell Inspiron 1018 spends most of its time plugged into an outlet, which greatly increases the life of these batteries, so that when you need them they are fully charged.The prices have come down from the $17 that I paid for each of my batteries. At $11 these batteries are the best value in PC batteries. Especially when one considers that an OEM Dell battery for the Inspiron is over $100!Highly recommended!Update: I purchased a second of these batteries and rotate them every few weeks for greater longevity. It's been nearly a year since I purchased the first of these batteries, and about six months since I bought the second one.So far they are running fine. I will update how they continue to operate from time to time. If there's a problem I will list that as well.Thus far, worth every penny, when considering that an OEM DELL battery for my Inspiron Mini 1018 sells for about $100.Earlier...Update: I received the replacement battery and after a few weeks it continues to work fine. Hopefully, the first battery's short life was a fluke. I will update this review in the future to document how long this battery lasts.If it can last as long the OEM battery in my Dell Inspiron Mini, I will consider it to be a tremendous value at its $17.17 price (including shipping).I have added an additional star, and if the battery continues to function properly and lasts as long as the DELL OEM battery did, I will update this rating to 5 stars.I purchased one of these batteries for my Dell Inspiron Mini two weeks ago. The price was terrific and shipping was included, so I decided to give the battery a try.If it was reliable I was going to purchase a few more.However, after two weeks this battery failed. I contacted Amazon.com and the merchant describing the situation and asking for a replacement.They were quick to respond and are now shipping me a replacement battery. I will update this review based on how well the new battery functions.I hope the battery works out well, because at $17 it represents a tremendous value. Dell's OEM battery for my computer is $116!

shipping was very quick. battery was inexpensive.battery fits in my dell mini 1012 like the original. i'm getting 4 to over 5 hr with this battery using fedora 17, depending on usage. battery i replaced got 2 hr tops and different OSes would complain about it being defective. new battery does not get these complaints. battery also charges quickly.

Very pleased so far.Fitted perfectly and seems to be working well.Can't comment on how long the battery life is as I've only just recieved it.Arrived a bit late but not complaining about that.I have a Dell inspiron mini 10 (1018)
